That's being thoughtful but since your medium of study is English. You go and rough it... Have heard from friends schooling in Germany that he knows of people that don't hear much of German and are working. After all he was just a novice when he was going as well... So, it all depends on you sir and the decision you feel it's suiting and point of view.

Use the second one(Wednesday)

It simply means they have shifted your initial date from from Monday to Wednesday due to technicalities.

It happened to one of my friends

You can also mail the embassy...
you better go on the first make them turn you back than you go on the second just my thinking

You won't believe they are insisting on #17,100. They said they are no longer with TNT as they are now on their own as Courier Plus
same price they told me when I called them on phone

Those dat applied to University of Bayreuth, how long before u got notification of reciept? If u hv gotten addmission, how long did it take?
For my course, I applied since 20th of May. They didn't acknowledge receipt of my application. So, I mailed the program coordinators and they said the selection committee will seat before the end of this month and I'll get feedback before 15th of July and acknowledged receipt of my application. So, mail your program coordinators.

You tell the V.O facts about Germany... Name of the president, chancellor, their political parties, land size, name of states and countries bordering Germany, just general facts. You can check Google for these facts.. I'll advise you check some facts based on your intended course of study too.

Please must one apply through uni assist?

Your question is as funny as the other guy's question that you responded to with a savage reply

Application through Uni-assist depends on your school of choice. Check their application procedure, you'll know if it's online upload, direct hard copy posting, email delivery or Uni-assist that is needed.

It is generally recommended to have at least a basic command of the language before you leave Nigeria. Even if you will find a job that does require you to speak English, how will you navigate through the city where most inscriptions are in the German language?
So it's advisable. At least even if it's basic introduction, names of objects, places, letters and numbers, basic sentence composition and so on. Depending on prevailing factors, you might not need to attend a language school as these stuffs can be gotten from mobile apps.
Your employers may or may not ask for proof of proficiency in German. They'll only say they want you to be fluent in German.
You can start learning here and if you put your heart to it well, you'll improve steadily when you get there.

This is a post copied from honourableseyi, cc hadampson

Without the language, you can still hustle. However, the longtime goal for those that want to stay back should also be taken into consideration. Having the knowledge of the language is a big plus. Though some people are not in the environment where they can learn the language, thus making it cumbersome. Don't worry if you are in this category, you will get along. But for those that have the opportunity; please, try and learn it. The truth of the matter is; in Germany, there are jobs and there are jobs. People in Germany will understand better. Shalom

Adeolamikaay, I'm still in Nigeria o grin na this winter I wan go

Just give them core facts about Germany. Don't tell them stories o.

Facts, straight to the point.
You can enter Google and search for "Facts about Germany", you'll get a lot. Write them down and start practising
