Fellas greetings from Above.
Tbill investment: can one have multiple investments with same name, same account concurrently? One is yet to mature and I'd like to invest another using my same account with my bank.
Thanks as always guys.

The rate at which TB is falling is alarming. Abeg, what do u guys think about this federal govt bond coming up on June 10 to 14th. But the 3yrs lock up on 12.47% is also not encouraging. Elders what do u think

This what the cbn want the ideal situation..not dumping capital on fixed income but people with capital are forced to take risk and create bussiness and employment ,then pay income tax and cooperate tax to firs then govt use the money to run the country....but tb cause laziness if the brain ,high rate cause unemployment and low tax collection...it can go as low as 7 per anum ....

I'm telling you..it's unfortunate. Once you have to trust someone to handle business for you, you risk entering one-chance. Exposure to too much money corrupts friends/family

Slow down on your machine guns.

This comment would have been preferable if you directed it to the financial institutions whom CBN is trying to discourage from investing heavily in the Tbills rather than lend to real sector that will improve the economy.

Its those financial institions that are the lazy ones.
Tbills does not cause laziness of the brain for an individual. Its a means of INVESTING. Doing business is not Investing as you will be actively engaged in it.

Meanwhile Tbills will not hit 7%, I understand the emotions are flaring up here and there, its a normal thing its not the first time it has happened. Tbills won't make anyone an overnight billionaire however because of its low risk that's why even financial institutions are falling over themselves for it.

For me, its those financial institutions that should been queried/limited to a certain amount how much they can participate in.

Calm down your nerves on these individual investors looking for where to "bake bread" smiley

Lol. If the rate falls to 1% you're probably better off keeping your money abroad instead of investing in TB and risk losing ur shirt if the naira were to be devalued again.

I really don't know when u started investing but rate have gone down to 7 percent around 2015/2016......in the financial world they called it lazy man bussiness ....inflation 12 percent tb 12 percent ..infact their was a time fixed deposits was even higher bank are smart they set up nice buildings with suited staff to collect cheap or free deposits at 0 to 4 percent the dump at 12.5 in tb and bond use 2.5 percent as runing cost then net profit over 8 percent ,they not much affected by inflation cos the investing capital is almost free .....imagine some one giving u 100 m with the probability he will only withdraw 5 m in the whole year ..u fix it at 12.5...u generate 1250000 u pay him 5 m and earn 7.5 ....used 1.5m to run the bank ,bank makes 5 million...share holders are happy

Between year 2015 till now, price of commodities in Nigeria have generally increased by a minimum of 125% due to hyper-inflation. Is locking money in treasury bills still a good investment choice with this inflation trend in Nigeria? Please i need expert opinion on this. Thanks

I still need someone to shed more light on this for me
