I want to be a remote developer. With a BSC in computing and having a good knowledge of CSS,HTML and a bit of JAVASCRIPT. I believe I am a front end developer. Also I am great at building a wordpress website with great wordpress themes.

I will like to know what is entails to be a back-end developer.

I am a 32 years old female and will like to network with people both males and females already in the industry ESPECIALLY people in remote web developing.

I am happy to be an intern in an project paid or free. I need as much experience as possible.

You need to learn how to program to be a back-end developer. backend development is all about creating application, it is the true programming at it core. learn technologies like nodejs since you're doing JavaScript already. Also PHP isn't a bad choice either.

Back-end development is about making a site alive, meaning it remember users, store their data, interact with them, secure them. In simple words, back-end is all about creating smalls application to make a websites usable and alive.

I am in your shoe also, trying to get hold of react (a frontend framework/library).I think you should tryout node since you have basic understanding of JavaScript (which I am doing already).

I reside at Ikotun Lagos and I am also willing to be an intern to get valuable experience.

Nice one. We just have to keep an open mind and keep networking.Luck will shine on us soon enough. I think we beginners can also come together to create real life projects .It will help our resume. The world is a global place,it doesn't matter the location.

Same here too. I know HTML, css and bootstrap quite well. I'm also quite deep into JavaScript, but I need to work together with people to learn at a faster pace.

I'll recommend brad trasversy media channel on YouTube. It has really been of help to me

I am not too deep into Javascript.Expecially the practicality of it.Don't mind getting some tips and learning from you.

Advice: Don't limit your self to remote opportunities now, you need to work in a team with other experienced developers

Start building something with the little you know, use this principle: Start with the necessary, then try the possible, soon you will be doing the impossible.
Maybe I should post a guide of entrance into backend.
