Processing takes between 4-6 weeks, especially if it's the first application set they received from you.
On the portal, most times, you'll always see "submitted online, processing not yet started". Don't be worried, your processing is already on. When they are done, they will update it and send your application to your school. They can also send you your vpd in case you'll need it
Bro !
What if you send a missing documents back to them?
They have received it and its over 2 weeks now yet no response.
Application deadline is 15th july.
Any suggestions?

Thank you so much. Will do as you have advised
Eldeee:

Send a polite mail to your program coordinator stating you would like to be given a consideration as regards the waiver considering financial challenges in relation to our economy.

Let him know other schools in Baden wurttemberg are given considerations to students from LCD and ACP countries of which we are part of it. At least for now I know of tubingen and university of applied science Stuttgart.

For we in Karlsruhe, we have done same and our program coordinator has taken it up to the school authorities. We are expecting a positive response in no distant time.

All the very best.

NB : Less I forget, if you possibly can attach the document (Baden wurttemberg state law on education) where it was clearly stated. For the schools that gave such waivers, navigate to the English masters program for geoinformatics, you will see it clearly stated on their website. So you can also make reference to it. Germans like you to give them proofs of whatever you are seeking for.

Yes , they have access to it..my friend told me the VO thought she edited her appointment letter he has to check it on the system himself before he told her she is lucky.

The VO saying "you are lucky " is a bit funny. After confirming that you are suspecting someone wrongly, the follow up statement should come with a tone of apology, not threat of "you are lucky" . Anyway we are the ones looking for visa... Man gat humble by force.

You are changing the narratives bro
You were the one (one of those) saying category A was for only scholarship students which was wrong and those that try to probe it made it possible for others to confidently book caregory A if you are going for Msc and have first class to 2:2
I think say na only me notice... I just ignored. Don’t mind him, small time baba go say “it’s reverse psychology”.
I laugh. grin

Yes it does... I applied to increase my chance of getting an early AL (last summer taught me a good lesson) I already got admission in a tuition free school also but not from my favorite school yet but I’m continuing with my visa processing with that
I honestly don’t plan to go to jamo to be paying 1500 every semester but I like the course

Continue visa processing with honheheim AL or your other free school?

The 1500 tuition is really heart breaking angry and yea, their courses are really nice. I applied for the Bioeconomy program recently. Waiting for their response.

Just so you know, there's a possibility for tuition waiver, go through the link below and see if you qualify https://www.uni-hohenheim.de/en/faq-tuition-fees-international-students#jfmulticontent_c327225-7

Pay close attention to number 3 of "who can be exempted from study fees upon request" and explore that with your program coordinator. Cheers mate.

Good day senior colleagues.

I'm new here. I've scan through the thread but some things are still unclear to me.

I would be applying for the set/batch that would resume August, 2020.

I would appreciate if my questions can be attended to.

1. The schorlaship aspect of funding one's education under the category which DAAD is, which other scholarship can one apply for that would come with stipend just like DAAD?

2. Could you kindly do justice to summer, winter and autumn with respect to the calender we use here?

3. I've found a school to apply to in Germany, in the DAAD advert, the deadline stated there is December 1st 2019. But people have been saying deadlines are March, June and July?

4. Is it all universities that require one sending application materials through the courier service?

Thanks in anticipation for favourable response.
