A guy on Twitter with the username @realfrancisanam has gotten the curse and trolling of his life today. This was due to the report he made to MTN on their official Twitter account about the leaked MTN cheat code, giving users who dialled such codes a data of up to 120GB. Thing is, if we all use cheat codes, we cheat the company out of income...which would lead to the company losing income...which would lead to the company closing shop in Nigeria...which would lead to massive job loses. And it isn't just job losses for those working for MTN...it would be job loses for data resellers, scratch card salespeople, and so on. And the impact on our economy would be harsh. I know many people think MTN is ripping us off...but let's be frank, MTN is a business. Many of you who would quote me to insult me run businesses. You won't like it if people used your products for free. MTN will take its business elsewhere...and Nigeria will suffer. So, to the man who reported the leak....thank you.
