Anectodally, I cant find evidence that proves women can love a man the same way men love women. As a Christian, it also baffles me why the bible instructed men to love their women but didn't instruct women to love their men, instead, it requires women to respect their men. By love (to love), I am referring to her being altruistic, sacrificial, unpossessive, selfless, and non-solipsistic, its about the other person, the way the bible instruct men to love their women, and the kind of love women expect from men. As opposed to being in love (in love), which is convenient in nature, selfish and all about the self, not the other.
