Scottish Premiership giants Rangers have confirmed the signing of Nigeria-eligible winger Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan from European champions Liverpool. Rangers are his fifth loan club following spells with Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham, and last season in French Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims. The Light Blues are managed by Steven Gerrard and Ojo will be hoping to continue his development under the Liverpool legend. Since making his competitive debut for the Reds against Exeter City, the winger has appeared in 13 official games, scoring one goal. The 21-year-old was a member of the Young Lions squad that won the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup, making five appearances, including the final match vs Venezuela. Former Golden Eaglets invitee Ovie Ejaria and Dream Team VI striker Sadiq Umar spent the first half of last season on loan at Rangers. 1 Like |
