From the same director(David Fincher) who gave us notable thrillers such as Se7en and Fight Club, 8mm, comes another insanely suspenseful thriller. I was damn hooked up & shaky from start to finish. The plot was ok, the acting was gooooood, Jodie Foster totally owned her character/act,(now I got to see more of her movies) cinematography & pacing were perfect.
A very suspenseful flick with many twists and turns, some of which you see coming, some others you don't. Asides it's ending, i totally enjoyed it.

After seeing Dredd 2012, i had this view that Karl Urban, was quite a good actor, but damn i was wrong, this flick was a clear indication. The plot was basically textbook cliché, the acting was horrible & the thrills were nowhere to be found, coupled with the fact that the flick was so annoyingly predictable.. It basically took me 3 days to complete. Another waste of my precious MB.

Far fetched as the storyline may be, it is actually based on true events. Ron Stallworth is a real person and he really did infiltrate the KKK posing as a racist white man. However, some liberties were taken for the sake of dramatic effect, like the bombing and the actual time frame of the events.
