Ur score is dope, congrats on that .
But I don't think I am in the position to tell you which school to choose, because I believe medicine is the same everywhere provided the institution is accredited.
But I think u have a better shot at Esut, considering being an indigene of enugu.... (in case you decide to choose Esut) ,Maths should not be a problem, u can add me on whatsapp to give u tips on how to ace the exam with ease "I had 325/400 during my time ".

Hi medics
I scored 279 but I'm kinda confused on which school to choose between EBSU and ESUT.

I'm afraid of choosing EBSU cos I heard they are fiercely indigenous.
For Esut, I heard maths is a major part of the post utme and it's been many years since I opened any O level maths text.
Now I don't want to waste my score and I'm kinda desperate here.

I actually prefer EBSU but I don't know if it's possible for me especially with my low score.

Ishi na agbam pop corn.
I'm from Enugu State.

Choose EBSU. You can more easily gain admission into Medicine at EBSU with your 279 than ESUT.

Cross river state is not among the catchment area

Only the 5 south eastern states make up the catchment area, and that is how it is for every federal university, only the states within their region make up their catchment

Change to schools that write post ume to increase your chances of getting admission.
You need to score VERY VERY high... 300+.
Plus, catchment area also plays a role here

Nope! You are wrong on this. UNN is founded in 1960,ie before the creation of States in Nigeria. Its catchment areas include the former eastern region which is present day SS and SE. Both SS and SE states are catchment areas of UNN.
A lot of Deltans are schooling in UNN as they are part of UNN's catchment. Check this link below.

I Can't Remember The Last Time I Visited This Forum. I Was Asking Then On How Easy It Would Be Combining Politics With Medical Studies. Some Folks Started Responding With What I Saw As Discouragement, That Do I Know Making It To UNIBADAN Is Not That Easy? And That Medical School Entails Working Assiduously (which Of Course I Knew Already: But Firmly Believe In GOD); While Very Few Encouraged Me. Now, The Testimony Is: I Am Now A Medical Student Of UNIBADAN (DENTISTRY AND DENTAL SURGERY). Unto GOD Be The Glory Great Things HE Hath Done! Believing HIM To See Me Through Without Compromising Any Of My Goals, Ambitions And Desires. I Love You All.

Why Not Change To Unibadan? It's All About Grace. Benue Is Elds State: So You Still Have Advantage At Unibadan. If Your Faith Is Shaking You May Change To Elsewhere. That Utme Score Of Yours Is Too Outrageous To Go Wasted. Be Smart And Guided. God Bless You.

Thanks so much sir...
But surely I know that Uni Ibadan is somewhat too competitive and I may not get in
But I'll make research about the school and their post utme but thanks sir
But sir what do you think of UNN and my chances there
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Nobody: 11:32am On Jun 19, 2019
And like you mentioned I wouldn't want to waste my jamb score
But rather take advantage of the mass failure in jamb this year to secure MBBS in a good university

Why not stick to the UniMaid you chose initially??
The school does not write putme the last time I checked and considering your jamb score and olevel points, your chances of getting admitted are very high compared to other federal unis you could think of.
If I were you, I would leave it like that.

That was my plan initially...
But I'm considering the security issues..
If I can get medicine else where why not change
