Yes! You should be able to find a job that will keep you going but I doubt if you will find such job just after arriving. You maybe able to find such job after about 6 months of your stay. You never sabi their language you wan work, how you go take do am na?
So, go with enough money that will keep you going for at least 4 to 5 months and by then you may have learnt the basic Korean language, so you can then look for work.

Yes, there are other scholarship programs run by many institutions apart from Government scholarship. but you qualify if you have a good grade in your first semester and other semesters, grade of about 3.5/5 or above or if your Test of Proficiency In Korea language is above level 3. You will get about 50% scholarship.

You mustn't have 3 million to be in Korea, when you start you will be surprised that during the finishing point you will find relatives that will be willing to assist you with the little they have and before you know it, you are in Korea.

I don't know about South Korea but in China before you get admitted you will be offered scholarship if your CGPA is anything around 3.50 to 4.5. 100% sure.

wow. I have 4.49 on the whole. But I fancy Korea more due to the chance to stay back after studies unlike China.

This will require a lot of documents and paper work. I think they should also have a different policy for foreigners acquiring a land. Farm is done in a large scale in South Korea, if you want to operate as an individual you go carry plenty money oooo
But if you finally get all these approval and start farming what they consume most and supply to them, even though you will not meet up with their demand, you go hammer money be that.

I've contacted some schools and most have replied. From their replies, their admission processes starts August (KAIST), September , soon (Chonnam National University), late October (Kyungpook University) and even November, for some. I'll like to know, is it possible for one to go for all the notarization and whatever before that time, or does one wait for that time before starting the "waka waka"?

@acadollar, I'll also need clarity on your statement about NO JOBS. Sustaining oneself during the first 6months might not really be an issue considering our currency is more than theirs, my issue is after that one is supposed to Atleast start working to keep body n soul together, instead of still calling home. Do u frankly mean that is impossible?

Your chances of getting a visa depends on many things;
If you're above 25 years going for a language course in South Korea, it's suspicious as they will want to ask you why you don't want to learn it in Lagos or Abuja where they have Korean language centres. If you can give them a good reason, of which one of them is "that the reason you want to learn Korean language in Korea is to have the opportunity to learn their rich CULTURE in their environment other than learning their language", you maybe issued a visa. Many have travelled through language program route.
Try it, you might be lucky.
