Please Sir, you may be right or wrong, I am talking in respect of the behavior of our people in terms of love for material things, I don't know her in person but I know this news came up sometime ago and from the comments of people who know her.
From the culture we find ourselves, women have been vulnerable in the hands of men when it comes to marriage and therefore requires that they do proper investigation before going in, but majority of women will not as far as the money is there(pride).
There are several cases similar to this, many have died, some are are regretting,
No body is perfect but maybe she was not made for him.

Men need to fix up their character, investigation or no investigation, a bad man who wants to camouflage his nature till marriage will do so. Y'all need to do is as a person project. If she chanced her sister then to me it is a sign that the man himself is heartless and wicked. For him to have gone along with such a thing shows that he is not someone you should expect to behave properly. That makes the risk of harsh outcome high. Or how do you see it.

That being said, his behavior towards her has always been wicked. I remember when the rumor around town was that he locked her inside one room in government house.
