KarnThornheart:Can you go any lower than you do in the first paragraph? Cos it seems to me that you just can't live with your life choices hence the constant jab. Not like anything better is expected of you cos next thing is to call someone's mum a LovePeddler and switch accounts the moment you get hurt on a basketball forum. So go off Einstein. So you say Steph got outplayed by Vanvleet but only in the 4th quarter when Vanvleet got Kawhi, Lowry, Ibaka, Siakam and all on court so he can hit open threes? But here's the truth. You're just mad he swept your King twice one as a gentleman. And here's your King's stat unguarded at the free throw line. In the final 15 seconds of the 4th qtr/OT, he is 10-21 (48%) on FTs in one-score games just in 2017-2018. That's the worst FT pct of any player with at least 10 FTA in those situations. Outplayed by free throw line. MJ, Kobe, Steph, KD even Lonzo would never. |

The draft was dope. Please I've got one question all.. Is it possible for one who is schooling in nigeria/playing in any of Nigeria's league(dodan barracks, first bank and other naija bball teams)to get drafted directly to the NBA without having to go to college in America? |

SmooshCHN:LOL! But you admitted to being a quack doctor and a fraudster and you admitted to wanting to export your quackery to another country what are you mad at me for? You know i'm smart but it seems you just dont know how smart i am. You know Einstein, what about tesla? plato? Socrates? Mo.rons. So you say Steph got outplayed by Vanvleet but only in the 4th quarter when Vanvleet got Kawhi, Lowry, Ibaka, Siakam and all on court so he can hit open threes? But here's the truth. You're just mad he swept your King twice one as a gentleman.Your man had draymond iggy and boogie. Mad? LOL The only time your man came at lebron with a level playing field the notorious choker choked a 3-1 lead, first time in NBA history. Suffice to say this level of choking had never been seen before until this shameless choker. then he went and cried to Kevin Durant at the Hamptons. Hamptons five or b-tch a-s niggas? And here's your King's stat unguarded at the free throw line. In the final 15 seconds of the 4th qtr/OT, he is 10-21 (48%) on FTs in one-score games just in 2017-2018. That's the worst FT pct of any player with at least 10 FTA in those situations. Outplayed by free throw line. MJ, Kobe, Steph, KD even Lonzo would never.LOL! But lebron has never been a good free throw shooter. All i know is someone calls himself the greatest shooter of all time but keeps bricking clutch shots. The king on the other hand, is statistically speaking the most clutch playoffs player in NBA history and thats a fact. Just admit it man, Wardell curry is a notorious choker. Theres no denying it at this point. |

Nostradamus:Why not? Players get drafted from overseas. But you'll need a whole load of publicity...YouTube videos, twitter hype, an NBA agent or an agent who knows an NBA agent. Even with all that, it might still not be enough. But even if you apply for the draft and get bounced, it's good publicity. You might end up in the G-league or even in Europe (which ain't a bad thing) |

steady986:hmmm!!thanks for the reply.am thinking maybe I should pick back my balling dream.i was good when I was younger,a lovely shooting guard, represent my school at nuga.tho, age Don set in small sha.ll |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:10pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Nostradamus:Lol, but there's no point applying for the draft if you're old. Just try and get in the local league, then from there get into Europe. Europe is where most Nigerians are thriving. |

SmooshCHN:But how does that change the fact that Steph Curry is the greatest choker the NBA has ever seen? |

Tanking season?? The warriors got this easy with this draft class. Jordan Poole https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KowNSdlR4I Eric Paschal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bew7Xg1x_4 Alen whatever ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7JLyLGIblc |

SmooshCHN:Happy with the drafts especially Jordan Poole. Was already hearing about him from the scouting reports. A potential splash brother with decent length. |

KarnThornheart:I am just here to expose flaws in your logic as usual. How many playoff games does Curry have? If he has the chance to go 0-8 in last 24 seconds of a game, it means his team mostly wins games before that moment compared to some people on that list. Also, the stat does not show if the shots missed are to win games or tie them. Because he was 3-4 in shots needed to tie and then his team went on to win convincingly in OT which will mean those shots won't get counted as last 20 seconds. But I'm sleep though. Some GOATs cant shoot free throws they had been working on since 2003 but they are better than Kobe and Jordan who won more than them. |

Eruditor:Once again, your lack of basketball knowledge is clearly showing. You don't know what a go-ahead shot is. I'll tell you. A go-ahead shot is a shot taken at the end of games, usually to tie or take the lead. And the 3-4 you're talking about were in the regular season. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:03pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
steady986:I would have been surprised if it was not our resident dullard. Want to bet the 3-4 stat is for the regular season? LOL. Which is why I mentioned it. To show the flaw in the stat and the small sample size. Again I ask, how many playoff games does Curry have? How many wins? If he only had a chance to miss 8 go-ahead shots compared to the amount of wins he had, it means his team won more games before the final 20 seconds than the other players on that list. Logic is not hard if one has half a brain. Sadly, you don't. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:The only thing you expose here is your naivety, mr. warriors in 7. How many playoff games does Curry have? If he has the chance to go 0-8 in last 24 seconds of a game, it means his team mostly wins games before that moment compared to some people on that list. How does this change the fact that hes 0-8 in these situations? What about westbrick who's 0-7? duncan 2-9, mr big shot 3-9, even harden, another notorious choker got one to go 1-9. Your man is just out choking everyone. Also, the stat does not show if the shots missed are to win games or tie them. Because he was 3-4 in shots needed to tie and then his team went on to win convincingly in OT which will mean those shots won't get counted as last 20 seconds. The so called greatest shooter of all time cant buy a shot to put his team ahead in the last 24 seconds of a game and you are giving me that gibberish? LMAO! Some GOATs cant shoot free throws they had been working on since 2003 but they are better than Kobe and Jordan who won more than them.Like i said, keep exposing your naivety. Free throw shooting is now the standard for judging great players. Shaq couldnt buy a free throw to save his life, you're too young in the NBA to know what Hack a Shaq means, still a greater player than Kobe Bryant. You should be arguing about shaq or kobe or duncan, dont let your willful ignorance allow you to bring lebron into this. One day you'll come and tell me robert horry is better than lebron cause "he won" more than him. If you dont know who that is, he is the definition of clutch, hence the opposite of steph curry. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:16pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:But how does your "logic" change the fact that hes 0-9 in these instances is what i want to know. Its one thing for your team to win convincingly, its another for your team to need a shot and your man chokes. Just imagine a 6'3 point guard getting locked down by 6'10 chubby kevin Love in the most important play of his career. Even Allen iverson who was a brick layer hit clutch shots all the time, this so called great shooter cant buy one for his team. LMAO! Greatest Choker of All time! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:20pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Chai, you don't listen, that's your problem. You always want to argue blindly. Even if he missed the go-ahead shot in the last 24 seconds, there's a whole lot of things that could still happen. The game could remain level and go into overtime, which the warriors could win. Also, even if he misses, his teammate could have another bite of the cherry before the game ends. And I forgot to tell you, a go-ahead shot could also be taken when your team has a slight lead as well. You could take a go-ahead shot to extend the lead to make sure of the win. Curry is 0-8 in all those permutations. Disgrace. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:47pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:With you it is easier to argue. You will provide the ammunition yourself. Curry is a choker etc bla bla. But Bron has lost 6 finals. Why did he not buy shots to make his team win? Curry has won more than Lebron in the playoffs and finals. I don't understand. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:48pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Yea, Kevin Love locked him down. To win all but one ring. Meanwhile Curry has 3 playing against the same Kevin Love's team. So explain, how the choker has won more. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:53pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:He was carried by Kevin Durant. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:00pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:I'll be the first to admit LeBron froze in 2011 even though he's made clutch shots and plays before that he froze throughout the series period. Got outplayed by Jason Terry and JJ Barrea. It was embarrassing! But it's one thing to have a moment like that, all great players did. It's another to consistently fail to show up when your team needs you. For all of lebrons finals losses bar the aforementioned his teams we're never in contention to begin with. But stats show that when it comes to these moments, a game that's close and you need a game winner and you want a player to make a difference, LeBron is that guy, Steph simply is not. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:00pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
steady986:You answered yourself and still did not realise you did. Your level of inanity is legendary. If you miss a shot when the game can still go into OT. The shot is not as high-pressured as it was made to look. For e.g he missed a shot against Portland in the final seconds and went on to get 17 in OT. The stats calling him not clutch are dumb in that instance. Also, Curry is known to heave shots from the parking lot in the final seconds of games. Against Raptors, he did it in game 6 but the stats will show 0-9 in final seconds even when one, two or three of those are heaves. Then, he has hit shots that tied a game in the playoffs. Part of where the 3-4 stats came from. Those were not counted. Because...narrative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpw8FjxBML4 Curry has extended a lead in game 6 vs OKC 2015/16 with a huge 3. It was not counted as well. I can bring more evidence if you are too stupid to find one yourself. Curry has also been fouled in final seconds of games when he tried to shoot. He made the free throws. Those will not be counted. Yet some other people are 48% from the stripe at such points. So dumbo986, can you see why I told you to look for someone else to debate with? I don't mean that disrespectfully. You don't measure up at all. |

Eruditor:Why can't you stop insulting people? Embarrassing! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:04pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Of course. He had the best TS% of any 4th Q in the finals..he did that in 14/15. Averaged 26ppg in the finals. Averaged 22ppg in 15/16 when he "choked". Averaged 30+ ppg (almost a triple double) in 16/17 when he was carried by KD even when Curry was getting doubled at the 3pt line for KD to dunk easily. Averaged 28ppg to KDs 29ppg in 17/18 when KD carried him as well. Then averaged 30ppg in 18/19. Such a carried player that one. |
