Brown2Green helps a lot on this thread and through PM's. You can't deny the fact that he has been very helpful to an extent.

Does he request for money when openly giving advice in this thread? No.

Did he PM you to ask for money? No.

Is his advice worthwhile ? YES.

If at all what was said happened, it is a private matter and did not occur on this thread. Let's learn to be grateful. This is starting to look like beef and amebo. Afterall he did not force anyone to give him money.

If he put a price tag on his advice it's none of our business, especially when it never happened on this thread.

how can it be a private matter if he charges for people he met on this thread and what has grateful got to do with it ......... Statement in Bold is why Nigeria is not progressing , grateful, beef , amebo , force . What has that got to do with anything

Apologies, but it seems you are naive about modus operandi of con artists and the con game. Stop justifying BS. No one asked him to contribute to this thread. Matter of fact, most of the relevant stuff written on part 14 and 15 of this thread are recycled information freely given and freely recieved by selfless people, some still present here to this day.

If his posts have been of help to you, fine but NEWSFLASH: He probably read it here anyway, like many of the newtimers. Or how many visa interviews has he gone for or organized or is he married to a VO?

How someone who opened an account in 2019, barely 2 months ago asking if he could present T-bills at the embassy as SoA, and looking for legit hustle to travel instantly becomes a consultant luring people into PMs to charge them, for what?. Same fellow even went on to the GRE thread to advertise himself.

Is it really that hard to spot a poser?

I know it's your opinion but this one dey vex me la angry

When did you return back home? Did the school refuse to transfer your sevis to the new school or you just assumed?

No. The school didn't refuse to transfer my SEVIS, I did not initiate the SEVIS transfer process at all because I didn't have admission to the schools I wanted to transfer to. I came home way before school was back from break, I informed the school what I was doing and I came back home. No illegal days or anything. I made sure of that

The way you presented your graduate assistantship is
not catchy. Mention your assistantship on time. It calms the VO somehow.

How's your travel history?

A lot of people recently have been drilled on their stay in the US. So be very prepared to talk about your stay in the US.

Your career plan is somehow... I can't tell if the VO will be convinced with that. Focus on what your MSC is getting you before talking about PhD.
Work on that.

Nice response in 'Why this course'
Add a position you see yourself functioning in after your studies.

All the best.

I will work on these lapses. Thanks alot

Your visa is valid for 2 years and if you defer before leaving the school and is not over a year you don’t need to apply for another visa again.

But contact US embassy to find out if the rules has change or not.

Lastly the nunber you sent to me via email, I thought it’s for you because I called it and the person say he didn’t know auditmonkey your user name.

Thank you for the advice. I am sorry about the call, I put his phone number because I thought you needed it for the payment. The person isn't on Nairaland and he doesn't know my username. I just used the plentiful resources available to us on this thread to help him because he was panicking about the SEVIS payment and the $350 increase. I hope you understand.

You could have applied as a transfer student instead of coming to Nigeria.

Yes. I am aware of that. The circumstances wasn't favorable for such a thing at the time. Besides, I am home now. So, I just need advice in the next steps please.
Thank you.

For those asking for a clearer picture:
1. I spent 1 semester in school
2. I informed the school about my intentions before I left.
3. I left ASAP, so I didn't have any days of illegal presence.
4. I am not going back to the same school
5. I am aware that I could have transferred, but I didn't. I know, my bad. I just can't begin to explain the circumstance.

So, please help a sister out

It just didn't feel right to see him completely painted red coz of something that everyone perceived as wrong, after all the help he has given. I had to dilute the paint a bit. grin. I think it went too far.

Let me link your case with this- If anyone has their visas approved for Lincoln University and after the interview, they got a better offer from let's say Gatech, it's always advisable to reapply for a new F1 visa. So, in your case, if you want to pick an OPT option later in the future, it's advisable that you reapply for the visa. I hope you find this helpful.

You shouldn't have come back home unless finance was the issue. You should have continued, get admit from the new schools then ask the school to transfer your sevis record. Right now, can you still resume in the old school since your visa is still active? If not, you have to attend a new interview and explain to the V.O so you don't have issues at point of entry

I also noticed that all of these people supporting this Man have new Monickers. The hustle he was looking for is what he’s perfecting on this thread.

I think I made myself clear enough on this. I seriously do condemn such act as it is against what this platform stands for. Not everyone has the ample time for such. I don't comment often. I only comment when I think I should make a point. The same way I did when everyone was attacking bracelum for his advice. The points that bracelum has always stuck with are what have come into play in Auditmonkey's case. His stance on top schools for MBA. Saying the people supporting him have new monickers is erroneous. Some people may have other motives but we shouldn't forget they have contributed one way or the other too. I have been following the thread even before I registered. I registered when I had contributions to make. I want to appeal to everyone and justwise to pardon. Let the guilty be given one more chance. I want to say that I have gained tremendously from this platform and I used them to guide my younger ones. Everyone is duelly appreciated especially Lagosismyhome, time2win, time2smile, sharwama, Twoods, bracelum who has hibernated. God bless everyone.

You believe you have gotten it already and you came here to seek for help? Use your faith to get the visa please. There is no need seeking for advise here when you have such strong faith

Thanks you Lagosismyhome. Please do not be offended. It was just a misunderstanding. Thank you too TheZed. As for you Porpor, please keep quiet, you kinda sound like a broken record.
There you go again; closing a wound just to open another. I won't join any issues with you as you clearly have an attitudinal problem.

Normally...you can transfer your SEVIS details to the new school to be able to legally enter the US with your F1, except....

To be honest, i have learnt from @brown2green on this thread, well, I'm not here to cast you as such, just a piece of advice, I've always tried to contact him, and though, he has given me some advice, i asked you for mock, and you said i have to give u like 5k, not free, and i once called u, u shouted at me that u dont like people calling u, just chat, so if you really want to assist people, stop charging, let them appreciate you out of their own free will, and God will reward you...that's it

My only advice is to reschedule. They won’t interview you without SEVIS reflecting. Though you might be lucky to meet a VO that will put u on AP until Sevis reflects(happened to someone on part 13 of this thread) but majority of those whose SEVIS fee does not reflect were denied or returned.
