Oga Sarrki will you keep shut for once and use your brain for God's sake, have you travel out to foreign countries before even to North Africa and Europe and South America that's when you will know this form of government is evil and bad, in what way has this form of government helped people out for real don't be sentimental.

All this iberibeism you just displayed is all down to one thing - failure to read the article.

Why rush to comment without even reading first?

Our literacy levels in this country is just a joke.

The idea is good but the lovers of the shithole will not let it as long as igboman is subjugated.
My own advice to you Mr Agbakoba is to take the campaign to the elites that think like you and when the it gathers momentum then the government can pay attention. But if this doesn't work, then you can join Nnamdi Kanu to get the igbos out of Nigeria.

Yes and most people actually went to school but never got schooled. I just wonder the types of leaders some people will make.

This man claims to be a SAN and yet fails to realize that the president dosen't have the constitutional authority to unilaterally alter the constitution in order to put into effect most of what he just suggested
Stop being daft or ignorant. Same president that disrespects rule of law. This is Nigeria, if any president pushes for it, surely he will succeed especially with the usual rubber stamp legislators. Even national assembly puts up a bill, he can decline assent to the bill. This is Nigeria. Any change must have a top bottom approach.

Ha ha ha.

When there is still crude oil flowing in the Niger delta.

Buhari northern group doesn't understand that crude oil proceeds are not all a country needs to survive

Yet you and your leaders are rooting for Atiku Abubakar

Because, unlike Buhari, Atiku understands that crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive, hence Atiku promised to restructure Nigeria back to the system of independence.

Why didn't Jonathan achieve that?
Of course it would be difficult for a southerner to achieve it cos the greatest opposition to devolution is the north. But then, 'difficult' doesn't mean 'impossible'. If GEJ was serious about it and not just using it as election strategy left till the last minute, good progress would have been made.

That being said, for all those who keep saying it's impossible because of the opposition from the north, nothing else could be further from the truth. The real reason we still practice unitary government system till date is due to the zero focus of the south and the foolishness of the south uniting to push for it. We cant blame the north for taking advantage of the disunity of the south, can we?

Forget that separation of powers thing... A Nigerian president is too damn powerful and can achieve anything he wants to achieve.
Wrong. We saw what went down during Buhari's first term when he found it almost impossible to get the NASS to pass by a simple majority his agenda, and you are here talking about major Constitutional changes that require the consensus of 2/3rd. Where is that consensus going to come from? Buhari has no blame in this matter that constitutionally falls within the responsibilities of the NASS

He has only said the truth and the way forward for Nigeria but those benefitting from the weakening system can never see sense in what he has said. Unfortunately the handwriting is on the wall. Until we eat up ourselves before we sit down to address our diversity.

See how England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales have lived together for centuries because they faced the truth and addressed issues surrounding their diversity.

Agbakoba made a lot of sense. I think we need to decentralize power; maybe run about 6 geopolitical zones as the regions with the power to fully function and administer their resources and pay royalty to the central government.

I believe it will work better.
