What is ur gain if u stop our protest?

If u are authoritatively been told this recruitment is over why won't u secretly leave the thread?

If u have been promised a slot why can't u leave the people to protest may be it will be an avenue through which ur slot will come out including the remaining hopefuls?

If u depends on NNPC recruitment why don't you think it will ends this way?

From past records I think he is the known disavower during brocksamson and co time. Now I wonder what he is still disavowing? Just confusion playing out here or xtruzz couldn't deliver to guarantee him a slot for his disavowing post

Please my advice to our comrades let us exercise a little patience let us give them a benefit of doubt till first week of July ending.
if by first week of July no positive outcomes, all our hands must be on desk to fight nepotism.
Let us all unite to tell the world what is going on through whatever means be it twitter handles or Brocksomsom publication.

If that didn't work, let some of us who reside in lagos march to DPR headquarters to demand answer from them

Many many DPR last batch staffs are on this thread watching and laughing. Many top managers and policy makers are also watching to know your next move. Many known comrades that have been given or promised slots are popping up here to see how united you all can be to battle their slot or nullify them. Many moles are also watching as guests with satisfaction of a Job-well-done attitude.

Now, you hopeful, forget about OPTIMISM, prayer, hope etc and be factual and truthful to yourselves, do you think your protest, publications etc as at NOW!, after 3 years will change anything? A publication for who to publish? Sahara reporters or premium times? Graduates, continue. Comment on Twitter will do what? Buhari kyari bribed MTN, has anything come out of it? Babacha Lawal nkọ? CBN, FIRS etc? So you think DPR is a different Saintly organization that must be compelled to do the right thing? Naa.

DPR is over corrupt, in fact, I really don't know where the narrative that sharkor or ladan are saints when both are products of connections and IM.

They both got the DPR job based on connection, and rose through ranks based on criminal connections. So don't expect a gift box from the devil, and expect to see a gift inside.

Why this so much energy preaching to stop the protest? I mean what's your take? Since you know it won't work just take a rest. This time we will not allow you and your socalled anti-protesters to derail the cause.

Thank you distinguished comrades that are aligning with the proposed Twitter protest. I repeat nothing must deter us! Please go ahead and create Twitter account for yourselves and encourage your friends and family members to do same. We will need a minimum of 100 Twitter handles to bombard them simultaneously. Data is cheap, at least being on nairaland simply means you can as afford it. Let's gather as many people as possible. Whether it's ending of the month or first week of July, we must get ready for a showdown with powers that be in this country. Forget all these job adverts o. They've already shared all these juicy jobs to their children and relatives.
Even the just concluded NNPC aptitude test na waste of time and resources. They'll surely call many people for interviews just to camouflage the whole thing. It has been given/shared before now. Know or have someone at the top and your story will change.

DPR initially wanted the first and Second batch to resume Q2 and Q4 of this year respectively.

200 slots were given to Stakeholders. Most of them have reported. The rest that failed to report before October, 1st will join the second batch.

Merit applicants filled the 400 slots. Few of them joined the first batch. Those that failed to report before October, 1st were replaced.

Some have confirmed their names. Please make effort to know your status. If you have no one, be patient. You will hear from them soon. Continue praying and put your trust in God.

Those ready to pull the trigger, good luck with that. I feel your pain but If you decide to execute your plan, it will be a win-lose situation i.e those that got in through their sponsors will loose their jobs; Director will be sacked and the recruitment will be suspended indefinitely.

We are going to lay it bare to the public who they truly are. And for your information, many people here have applied elsewhere. So, it is not about making it a do-or-die-affair. As much as we want to get this protest going in unison, I don't support your 4days to go. The planned twitter protest should commence immediately.

Its the same circle for goodness sake. A task of just calling candidates have taken almost a year with this week, next week, next month and here with no sign of any change and then waiting till friday. What for if I may ask?

But I stand on my 1st/2nd week of July for an official update in our portals. Regret mails won't be sent cos it will implicate the powers that be cos some have already resumed. Instead, there'll be a massive shut down or error messages, while all successful will get their portals updated.
