Please will I be able to get admission for Masters in Germany with a CGPA of 2.82?

Depending on the competitive nature of your chosen field, I think that is about 2,5 GPA summarily, is very possible

Yes of course, just carefully go through the course requirements ...
Look for courses with 2.7 german scale as the benchmark not 2.5

Let me share my good news. Its with heartwarming delight to announce that I received my AM yesterday. My effort to port to Germany began in March 2018. And since then it's been a rollercoaster. From losing my job in UAE to coming back to Lagos. From trying to get a job in Lagos .

Congratulations

Lol I’m not offended .. AM means Approval mail which usually comes from the embassy for a successful VISA application(i.e your visa application has been approved and would stamped on your passport, AL means Admission Letter, SL means Sponsorship Letter and BA means Blocked Account...

I’m sure you know their features/functions...
Try to read some pages too

Congrats!

Park the bus! hehe! Mou fan.

more like this verse:"in the morning sow thy seed, in the evening withhold not thy hand...?"...why? you do not which one shall prosper!

if you aim for the stars (many of them), you will land on the moon! ( at least one).

@ Eldeee
You mean you didn't go with any proof of your work experience like employment letter, letter from employee or any document to back your work experience in your CV?

Bros na student visa I apply for na no be work visa, so what is more important is your admission letter and your school documents and not employment letter or pay slips.

hi all.
thanks for all who posted transcripts and have been giving information ceaselessly.
my query is:
whenever a transcript is posted, you will read, "I arrived at 5:30pm...etc". it is presupposed that they all arrived from somewhere.

so its either, they left home early to brave the early morning traffic or lack of it OR they found somewhere to stay close by.

for the benefit of those who do not stay in Lagos or are familiar with routes or shortcuts, can the gurus assist with the following:

1. how best to get to the embassy from the popular areas like iyana ipaja, Ikorodu, mile 12, Ketu, and most importantly for travellers from outside lagos. bus/car routes and average prices of transport will be helpful.

2. can those who stayed nearby the embassy, kindly furnish address of a lodge or inn you stayed at, how you booked, if booking is possible online or maybe contact at reception to confirm booking. I have read of SAPPERS LODGE, SERGEANTS MESS from previous transcripts, all near bonny cantonment. it is assumed everyone knows their way around Lagos but sadly this is not the case always.

please let those who know routes, places and shortcuts wade in.

an example will suffice. I was going to creek road, Apapa after leaving the MTN office on the island. I was told to board a bus heading towards costain. after getting stuck in the hold up 2hrs later, someone who overheard my destination, simply commented that a boat ride would have taken me to Apapa in 15minutes for only N150, and their boats were safe with each passenger having a life jacket. I wasted 4hrs & N600 bucks. it was sheer torture.

hope guys can help by posting required info!!!

Danke

Good day house.
I wish to commend each and every one of us who have devoted time to make sure that no one is victimized at the course of achieving his or her goal, I must acknowledge that your efforts have helped and benefited the masses. THANK YOU.
I am actually new to this family, as a Matter of fact, I just created a nairaland account tonight. I have gone through the thread the much as I can and have gotten several beneficial information. But am still left with few questions.
I got admission to study master of biological resources at Rheine Waal university of applied sciences yesterday, and I tried scheduling my visa appointment today.
During the process of applying for the interview, I noticed that some things has changed, unlike previous years, when one can apply via sending mail to the embassy, every one is expected to apply via the embassy website, I ask if it is normal?

Secondly, I noticed that at the process of filling the form, student visa is categorized into class And B.
I still wish to ask if it is normal.
Although I applied through class A, and got the email I attached here, I just wish to clarify that am on the right track.

Please if anyone else got admission to the Same course and school as mine, I will love a link up.

Thanks once more

First, welcome on board, and to you questions:

1) Yes, it's normal.

2) It's normal and you're on the right track in as much as you're going for a Masters degree and with a minimum of 2:2.

3) For your good, do remove the attachment as it contains the cancellation link to your appointment application.

Good luck!

I'm still waiting for AL after completing more than 8 applications before Easter. I guess it's because I applied to NC courses. Please Biochemistry people how are you people doing it? It seems most of the related courses are restricted. Has anyone come across any "open" biology/nature or health related MSc courses? Except Biological Resources in Rhine. I don't mind putting in one more application...
Thank you.

Really, it varies. Mine took 7 weeks, but I know some that got theirs within a month. The programme and the degree level matters, of course, as well as your qualification.
