Good morning everyone

So I did my interview today

Got to the embassy around 6:10am and I met few people at the gate. Before I continue, *if you don't have ur B.sc certificate yet, please go and get it from ur university* to avoid shout from the VO and also be very fast when arranging ur documents to avoid Paulinus wrath. So after checking our appointment letter, Paulinus told us to arrange our documents according to the way he is saying. Original one side, photocopies on two different sides. I will advice u separate ur photocopies from each so DAT u can be fast when arrangement. Some persons where sent to the back of the line cos they weren't fast. I was fast and so I was the first to go in and be interviewed. I went in and sat for a while for the signal to go in. After the signal I went to the cubicle. The VO was a fair sweet lady.

Me: Good morning
VO: Good morning
VO: What are you going for?
Me: Bachelor
VO: How old are u
Me: I answered
VO: And you want to do B.sc at that age, or is it second degree?
Me: Yes
VO: Pass me your documents
Me: I did
VO: And 3 passport photographs
Me: Gave her 2 (4got I had extra in my envelope) but I told her its 2 dats on the check list and she collected them
VO: Are you married?
Me: No
VO: Put your hands for biometrics
Then she went through my documents and noticed my B.sc certificate is not included but instead it was my B.sc statement of result
VO: Now she raised her voice "Where is your Certificate, why didn't you bring it. You don't have any excuse cos you graduated 2014"
Me: My statement is what I have with me (then she kept quiet)...oh boy..I started blasting in tongues in my mind oo while she was confirming my fingers on her system All of a sudden her mood changed to lively and friendly through out the remaining part of the interview.
VO: What is your language of instruction (now in good state, no more anger face)
Me: English
VO: What are you doing now (her mood getting more friendly)
Me: Teaching
VO: Private or Government school
Me: Government
Then I remembered I have extra passport photo, but she said no need for it again
VO: Which course are you going for
Me: Environmental and Resource Management
(She is now fully lively and friendly)
VO: What is the name of the school
Me: Brandenburg University of Technology
VO: Where is it located
Me: Cottbus
VO: Are you going straight for the B.sc program (now looking into my eyes)
Me: Yes
VO: Are you sure
Me: Very sure ma
VO: Hand me your visa fee
Me: I did....N30,500
VO: Why do you want to study this course
Me: Told her because of my work experience as a Safety officer at RCC, I was involved in waste management and safety of workers and.....then she cuts in
VO: What do you know about Germany
Me: I gave her 15 facts about Germany (she was very impressed, at least from her behavior, she showed satisfied with the things I said).....go and practice those 44 facts about Germany "google it"
VO: Why do you want to study in Germany
Me: Germany have a high quality education with tuition free universities both for EU citizens and non-EU citizens
VO: Why not USA or any other English speaking countries
Me: Their cost of education is very high even with someone having a scholarship
VO: Why not continue your education in Nigeria
Me: The quality of education in Nigeria is very low compared to Germany
VO: Who gave you this SL
Me: My brother
VO: Do you have relatives in Germany
Me: Yes
VO: Who
Me: My brother and my sister
VO: What preparation have you made for your study
Me: I applied for an accommodation, they said they will reply me 3weeks to my arrival
VO: What are your plans after graduation
Me: To come back to Nigeria and establish a recycling company( while I was talking she was smiling and laffing saying "oh Nigerians" cos she tot I was lying. Her next question confirmed my tot
VO: So you want to leave your brother in Germany and come to Nigeria( she said this while smiling and laffing)
Me: Yes......(Wetin I wan talk b4...make I say No?...Lolzz)

Man, you guys REALLY REALLY need to chill with attacking people about sharing their experiences.

I personally have met a number of people who didn't ever know of Nairaland and were able to process everything from their admission to visa application not ever needing to come on here.

I didn't even know Nairaland existed till I was done with my applications, booked for interview, and was given an interview date. I found this page because I was looking for Nigerian students in TUM. Before that time I didn't even know what Nairaland was or that it existed. What I've learned so far I share out of the goodness of my heart and not under some obligation to share my experience, and NO ONE should be under such obligation.

Even if they don't comment here, they more than likely will help someone physcially with their experiences, which would be out of your purview seeing as this is a faceless online forum. The truth is the number of people who share their experiences will ALWAYS outweigh those who don't.

This forum should be run like a democracy where everyone is free to do what works for them, and not like a frigging dictatorship where if you don't follow the majority, they come for you.

It really isn't cool, and might I add very intimidating!

I'm totally confused right now.
I applied for category A in April for masters and got an appointment date for July, then I saw on this thread that Category A is for German speakers blablabla, immediately I cancelled the appointment. Applied for category B and till date, I have not gotten appointment date. Then seeing this message again is throwing me off-balance.
Nonsoanthony:

All this category of a thing should not even be a debate anymore...those that went for embassy yesterday and today has confirmed that there is nothing like category but just "student visa".. anyone that wants to be in that non moving category B should try and remain forever..
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by shantelleasante(f): 2:54pm On Jun 26, 2019
Please house is it a must that all your documents must be certified by one particular notary public? Cos I was supposed to certify 11 documents yesterday I ended certifying 10 I forgot the last one, and the notary public who certified for me travelled already.. So my question is can I certify the last document from another notary public? Hope it won't be a problem in the admission process
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Somstevee: 2:56pm On Jun 26, 2019
Please, I will appreciate an urgent response.
How can one get his covered health insurance for interview.
Also, I saw interview application form as a document to come with...
I still haven't come across this form. How can I obtain it.

Finally, asides
international passport,
Proficiency certificate
Passport photograph
Admission letter
Transcript of previous studies
BSc certificate
Block chain confirmation slip,
Waec result,
Is there any one document mandated that one should go with

Here is the part 6

An incredible job by all contributors including those who ask questions and those who provide answers, job well done!

This is part 5 https://www.nairaland.com/4566903/general-german-student-visa-enquiries

Thank you for this. Please I have a challenge which I will like to get people's advice on. My original WAEC certificate is missing and I have applied to WAEC for attestation of result but they said it takes between 6-8 months before it is released. Some of the schools I applied asked for soft copy of my original certificates which I posted all except my waec which I uploaded only the photocopy. Please, I'm so scared this will affect my application negatively and when its time for interview too, hope I won't have issues wit Paulinus? has anyone been in my shoes before? please help.

Good day fams, its been really cool following this thread for sometimes now, sincerely, it has really been helpful, I really appreciate everyone who has made this possible
Let me quickly jump to the issues so as not to bore u with stories. Sincerely, I don't think anything can be has frustrating and annoying like what NIGERIA has made us go through, cos I can't see anything as annoying as been a NIGERIAN. so personally I don't think anything should bother us as NIGERIANS again. Bro/sis AL go come relax, for those waiting for SL or BA FUNDING chillax it would come, for those waiting for AM my brother if u are a REAL NIGERIAN it wouldn't bother u, and those waiting for interview date pls chop CHINCHIN and drink COKE.

Personally, av been rejected 3 times this winter, from JENA to KAISERSLAUTERN to OFFENBURG but am not bothered cos we Don start already and we won't relent cos I would still Apply to TWO MORE SCHOOLS namely JULIUS MAXIMILIAN UNIVERSITY OF WURZBURG and UNIVERSITY OF OLDENBURG.

shey dem think say dem mad ni? WE DIE HERE!!! WE MUST ENTER THAT GERMANY BY FIRE BY FORCE. if this winter no work, I Don separate 200k for summer admission, if summer no work another 200k Don dey for next winter. My BRO/SIS WE DIE HERE OOO, NA DIE WE DEY. NOBODY FIT FURSTARTE LIKE NAIJA DON DO ALREADY BUT THAT GERMANY WE GO EXETER TOGETHER. WE DON STATE WE DON START AND WE MUST FINISH IT TOGETHER.

SO fams keep calm ur time go come. I will share my TESTIMONY on this platform by GOD'S GRACE. for those who av gotten AL, I say may u av a fruitful interview and who av done their interview may AM fall on u. For the rest WE DEY HERE!!!!! we go continue the fight!!!! Operation leave naija.

Note: if u want to send documents to uni assist next week Monday and u reside in ibadan or Lagos kindly contact me
And if u want to send documents to JULIUS MAXIMILIAN UNIVERSITY OF WURZBURG, next week Monday kindly contact so that we can share cost. 07032032161 on WhatsApp. Thanks

do you have Bsc already, or is this your first Bsc you are going for?

it's simple, if u have Bsc already with minimum of 2.2(second class lower) apply for category A.

But if this is your first Bsc you are applying for, then category B.

thanks
