Nigeria players are marking the players of their opponent, they give them more chance to hold on the ball, the coach isn't look good to me, op only Ndidi doing marking and also allow them to bring the ball to our goal mouth knowing full well we don't have goal keeper.

Moses Simon has not justified his inclusion ahead of
Samuel Chukwueze. He has been largely poor.

This is how we waste glorious chances and begin to get desperate towards the end of the match. These Guinea team is very beatable. Poor midfield. Iwobi should calm down and be wise with his decision going forward

guinea put more players in the midfield making it difficult for eagles to play, we need Mikel in that midfield to hold the ball for long passes

Wallade:

There are two holding midfielders in the game - Ndidi and Eteboh

In the whole 45 minutes, how "visible" were they?.. My question was sarcastic.

Honestly people should be paid to watch afcon

Poor turn out is a reflection of poor quality football

People who pay to watch this poor football in stadium dey try ooo
Omo see eh Africa matter plenty. Europe has a very good transportation network plus a very buoyant economy so they can think of football. Here we are not developed and they won't even spend money trying to.

You quoted me in the thread after our first match showing support for Iwobi after I opened that he should be benched. I hope you're having fun with the Nonsense he's playing today?
I'm not seeing the game, but the comments prove that he has been poor.
He's been poor here that doesn't mean he is a bad player,he is just having a bad game.
Maybe being dropped for the next match will help regain his form.

In terms of spectators participants ....this is the worst afcon i ve seen in years
Serves Egypt right.

Match tickets necessarily expensive.

No provision for e-visa for the tourney. You go first waka go Abuja go queue for like three weeks.

I know this was impromptu kinda on them but their LOC no try.

Half time... Very tight game so far.IWobi has had the most touches on the ball and is made to work too hard creativewise...If only we had another flair player up with him like Chukwueze..Moses Simon is full of running like musa but no flair.

Very poor quality of football.

Abeg, i need to see kalu and chukwueze in this game.

Even if we don't win, atleast there would be a bit of quality in the attack.

That moses simon is the personification of average.

Seems like this is your first time following a match here. Calling of names is allowed.
Even reddit live match thread fans do insult/criticize non performing players.

Iwobi is increasingly becoming useless in this game...who the hell does he think he is turning himself all over when he received that cut back pass? I have seen Messi scoring tons of goals from cut back passes like that without turning himself out...and our goalie looks more like accident waiting to happen..football quality very low

Someone epp us tell Nabi Keita that he should not overdo!
No be today Nigeria dey humble big club players! Ask Eto'o & Drogba.

Keita's lame attempts at impressing whoever-he-believes-is-watching...will only get him injured.

Half time...perhaps time for Mikel to come in and provide some leadership and control that midfield.

Ighalo should just chill ..pass when others are free...if not guinea will win...there will be no draw in this game, maker my words...they are becoming a lot more confident in our 18yards and their attackers look really sharp

Nigeria doesn't have neither a playmaker nor an attacking midfielder. Iwobi is not a player before or now. We have overhyped a player that plays well in 1 match out of 10

Can't lie or be sentimental -- that was boring asf.

African football has a long way to go. We depend on power and brawns too much. No brains. That's why European and South American teams wipe us with the floor at the world stage.

By the way, I am beginning to have issues with this Gernot Rohr.

Why is Chukwueze on the bench? Why insist on starting Akpeyi the "shaking leaf"? Why don't our fullbacks bomb forward to occupy space created by our wingers who drift infield?

If I can see these things... I wonder how a well-paid coach seemingly misses them.
