Crashing out and losing is part of the game. Diego Simeone got the Barcelona of Argentina (River Plate) relegated. Did not mean his philosophy was wrong. Amunike is working with a weakened team and is getting them to play with their feet on the accelerator which is Commendable. This is not a sprint but a marathon. Although, I hope with time Amunike switches to a more talented side.

That's my problem with coaches who play too much offensive football... They leave their defence exposed..

That's what Brendan Rodgers did in 2013/2014 season with Liverpool. We scored 100+ goals and conceded 50+ ... It eventually cost us the league...

That kind of offensive football can win u games and provide some entertainment but it won't win u titles ..unless all ur opponents are smaller .

Even the great pep Guardiola doesn't play that kind of offensive football...

It is part of the game and philosophy. The boys are learning to play the Amunike way, defending in mass is not a piece of the puzzle. They have to learn or Amunike needs to search harder, to find more technical defenders that can play his pattern.

However, deviating from his philosophy is deviating from his values because the philosophy is what will take him to top heights.
