Dunno why you pointed out the "big fat tummies" knowing fully well that they constitute an infinitesimal percentage. A perfect sex doesn't exist in this world and what you find demeaning in a man are all another lady somewhere needs. I'm not in any way exonerating guys but just pointing out that you ain't perfect yourself, nobody is.

You are right, nobody is perfect but those are too many flaws for a woman to tolerate. Try and be better.

I still and I've always respected all my exes.

My concern for their growth & development drove me to introduce them to my family. At some point, I planned my life with some, and when ever I misses them or got a little concerned about their well being, I do visit them. In short, I am always there for them.

We do talk about marriage related issues and I've never had a problem visting their family. Whenever there's a misunderstanding, I always reassured them of my love, apologize and we settle our differences... yet I never planned to married any of those bìtches.

I'm not from Ile-Ife, Osun state Oga undecided its just my current location. my opinion that nigerian men have polygamous mentality is factless? undecided you do know the meaning of polygamy right? most men here, whether muslim or not, believe it's their right to marry and still have as many women on the side as they want. And even when their wives find out, they are expected to turn a blind eye to it "afterall he is taking care of his family's needs, isn't he?" All I am saying is that this is wrong. I have seen it happen around me, so stop assuming I read it on the internet. Other men of other nationalities cheat, I know...but at least they do not take it as their God given right undecided

Oh and that nonsense about black marriages lasting longer than white marriages is simply because of the stigma that is attached to being a divorced woman in our country. Oga, there is a difference between cheating and having polygamous mentality. When a European or American cheats and their wives find out, they apologize and they can both decide to divorce or move on with the marriage but when a Nigerian man (with a polygamous mindset) cheats he feels offended that his wife has the temerity to bring up that topic and tells her he is polygamous in nature. He could even beat her up too.

Nigerian men are amongst the sexiest men in the world, wonderfully created by the Creator and blessed in all departments. The average Nigerian man is well built, chiselled body like that of Kratos, blessed with the biggest Phallus in the world and always ready to put in the work when called to the other room.

As you might have known by now, the population ratio of women to men in the world is higher hence the battle for women to secure a man to marry is an uphill task especially in the Nigerian economy that is not favourable. Even though many men are willing to marry, most do not have the financial capability to see through this monumental task. On the other hand, Nigerian men are randy and most prefer sleeping with so many women instead of settling down with one. As a woman or lady, what are the signs a Nigerian man wants to marry you? This is a tough question, to be honest, but there are always strong indications.

He Respects You: Respect is key. As a lady, if you are in a relationship with any guy and he doesn’t respect you, he can never marry you. If he doesn’t respect you, he has no regard for you and you are just like the average girl to him.

Love comes with respect, a man that truly loves you will respect you. This a big sign if any man is going to get married to you.

He is Concerned About Your Growth and Development: There are men that just want sex every time in a relationship, they never demand from you anything else, they don’t care about your goals or aspirations as long as you satisfy them in the other room, it’s hard to see this type of relationship heading anywhere except the man is just a low-life person.

One of the key signs a Nigerian man wants to marry is he getting worried about your growth and development.

Introduces You to His Family: There is a saying – Family is all. Family has gone beyond those that are birthed by the same bloodline, someone who has been there for you all your life is equally a family.
A man introducing you to his family means he likes so much and his probably thinking long term for the both of you. This doesn’t guarantee 100% certainty of getting married to him but it’s a very big sign.

He Plans His Life with You: This is a no brainer, if any guy is getting married to a lady, he will have to plan his life with the lady included in it. Talks like how his job affects both of you, if he moves apartment, he wants to travel, talk of moving elsewhere and many more sensitive plans are obvious signs a Nigerian man wants to marry you.

So, ladies, if your intending husband to be in your mind does not share his goals and plans with you, just know he is using you to pass away the time temporarily.

He Misses You and Is Concerned about Your Well Being: A marriage without love will eventually hit the rocks. If a man is truly in love with you as a lady, he will be willing to marry you. When he truly loves you, he misses you and is concerned about your wellbeing wherever you are.

My sister, if a Nigerian man is going to get married to you, you will know from this explanation.

He’s Always There for You: If anything happens to you, he is not himself. Whenever you need him, he makes the effort to be there and he at least follows up with you if he couldn’t be there.

One of the biggest signs a Nigerian man that wants to marry you is he putting you first and making sure you navigate problems together.

He Talks About Marriage-Related Issues: There are lots of players and time-wasting Nigerian men, men like this do not care about any marriage talk, they always shun you when you bring this matter up. If a man sees his future with you, he talks about marriage issues and sometimes he lets slip by saying he is actually going to get married to you.

He Has No Problem Meeting Your Family: As a lady, you love a guy so much and you want him to meet your family, if your man is always dodging this request, he sees no point in doing it coz he doesn’t see a future with you. He’s only with you for his selfish gains and sexual pleasure.

No matter how busy your man is, if he loves you and is willing to marry you, he will create the time to know your family if you request such from him.

He Reassures You of His Love: See, relationships are not always smooth and plain-sailing, there will always be ups and downs. If a man constantly reassures you of his love in difficult times, he sees the future with you.

We all need reassurances, one of the biggest signs a Nigerian man wants to marry you is him always reminding you how he loves you.

He Apologizes and Wants to Settle Differences: When your man picks up on trivial issues and gets angry at all times without trying to apologize or settle differences, he is surely wasting your time.

A man who loves you and wants to be with you will always want to settle differences and see both of you happy, it’s just simple as that.

Wrapping Up: Getting married is a big decision and requires commitment from both the man and the woman. Nothing is always cast in stone and the points listed here are strong signs a Nigerian man wants to marry you. At the end of the day, the signs are always there for you to see. As a lady, do not be blinded when the signs are obvious.

What part of biology states that men are polygamous in nature? Lol you people will never cease to concoct all manner of falsehoods to suit your narratives.

Oga, they feel remorseful and that is it. Stop making excuses for you Nigerian men who feel cheating is your birth right. Even men who are not the breadwinners feel remorseful too so it has absolutely nothing to do with their impending loss in a divorce settlement.

Let me reiterate. There is not one gene, enzyme or or protein in the body which has been linked to polygamy and the polygamous mindset of you Nigerian men. There are oestrogen for women and testosterone for men and there is nothing to show that men's testosterone makes them polygamous in nature so that argument is baseless and holds no water. Also, the nerve endings topic is dead on arrival too as it's only used by Nigerian men to spew jargons they know nothing about.

Since you brought up Evans the kidnapper, let me ask you. Since you men always claim to be polygamous why don't you claim to be criminal in nature since men committ 90% of the murder and violence in the world?

AreaFada2:

Key here is "when caught". If not caught nko? Dem go just dey ball dey go. cheesy cheesy grin grin grin

They "feel remorseful" because of the consequences in the West. It's "officially" a culture of monogamy largely because it developed from Christian tradition. However biology always trumps man-made rules. Religion after all is man's interpretation of what they think God or some deity wants. When the wife files for divorce the man has a lot to lose min the West. Because it is legally and CULTURALLY backed up.

But most of Africa is culturally polygamous. Same way men traditionally provide economically. A tradition African girls have kept and expect men to foot their bills. Anyone who insists on doing it the Western way is called "stingy" or "wretched".

Evens the billionaire kidnapper was remorseful when caught too. But he was enjoying the goodies when not yet caught.

In the same 9ja you think men have a "polygamous mindset" several male relatives are/were not polygamous. Out of choice. Very back then. Like 100 to 40 years ago. While work colleagues and others around them had/have several wives.

If culture has to change, it has to involve everyone, male and female. Roles have become different. A woman has to now be comfortable providing for the family without using nagging to cut her hubby's life short. He should be able to become house-husband too.

Regardless of country, men's desire for a new conquest is high. Individuals have to show discipline and consider their priorities properly.

Hmmmm! I Might Not Agree With You And Khiaa On This Your Opinion, Even Though You And Khiaa Are With Meaningful Point. cool

My dear please agree with me on this. I'm serious here
Have had this experience first hand I swear. And i felt depressed, sad, suicidal all through the relationship with the first guy, I ever known when I was just 21. Mehn that guy can kill dreams all in the name of love. Worst ever first relationship of my life!
When khiaa mentioned those traits, my mind flashed back to my ex.
And just yesterday my neighbor, a matured man of 50 . We were gisting about men and women. When I told him what happened between me and my first ex. He said I was at fault? I asked why am I at fault? He said my ex might have had great plans for me career wise but I was determined to follow my passion in fashion design during my course study Of Marine biology in the university
My plan was to graduate with good grades , then head to fashion school and learn my true love ( fashion). kiss And if I marry along the line, no wahala. It's all good as well.
What annoys me most, was when this man said I'm meant to understand a man and knows his weak points. I was like really? I met my ex at age 19 , he claims he wants marriage, I said OK but remember I need to go into fashion design after my grad. He was firmly against fashion design after introduction was made. angry
Fashion design that have been dreaming from birth to become and u are about crashing my dreams infront of. Me career wise angry angry

And u said I should understand a man at that point?

For crying out loud! I'm just 19! Focused on graduating with good grades. What do I know about man at that period of my life!
He's meant to be patient with me ,teach me stuffs with patience. No yell and shout. Or threaten I'm not deaf! Also allow me achieve my dreams. Not been so obsessive and trying to control my every move! You can't clip my wings, if I want to fly! I will fucvking fly! That's who I am. Don't oppress me in the name of love and marriage. Cause u won't like the outcome.

If I start understanding men at that age? I would have been a single mother with kids by now! Oh yes with kids! Then the 50 years old man kept quiet and said oh well! I said look when a girl is growing and in tertiary institution, she can't wait to achieve all her dreams. Parents have controlled one already from birth till one graduates, Fine! I accept because they are my parents.

But the man I will marry should not continue with such control. Cause Im tired of been controlled and a guy breathing down my neck to live One of his fantasized career wise . Mehn! It won't work. Ko Le werk!
Simple advice me, and if u want me to add another career u love so much as a guy. Talk to me about it but don't shove or dismiss what I want to be in life and force yours down my throat. It won't work! And most men for you. So obsessive!

Phew! Sighs grin

Go and read what he wrote again. That's not what he meant.

Also, do you know that as a man, the quality of your sperm reduces at about 45 thereby increasing the risk of having unhealthy offspring? What about erectile dysfunction and prostrate enlargement?
Lol, these are some age related problems affecting men but most men don't even know and think women are the only ones affected by age?

Let me ask you, can a man of 50 truly satisfy a girl in her 20s without having to depend on Viagra which could even adversely affect his heart in the long run?

If your answer to the bolded is yes then the joke is on you. cheesy

No, cheating is not cheating. Even God forgives us when we confess our sins and the good book says, "if we say we have not signed, we make him a liar and his word is not in us".

So as we see, cheating and being remorseful is different from cheating and feeling it's your birthright.
bdchange:

Habra! Cheating is cheating and it doesn't matter if you serve your wife a divorce paper or not. You are trying to justify one cheat against the other. This is not right.
