Side observation:

This team is missing Victor Moses badly. Vicmo's individual flair gave Rohr's team that creative spark that made them a bit watchable.

Since he left, it has been kick-and-rush, anywhere-belle-face, blood-and-guts, huff-and-puff boring disjointed football. grin

I was expecting Chukwueze to fill into that talismanic X-factor role, but it's obvious those shoes are still too big for him at this point.

Maybe a more adventurous coach would've experimented with Onyekuru to bring creativity to the wings, or tweaked the team strategy a bit to spice things up, but since na Rohr the ancient clueless onigbinde of a dinosaur dey in charge, na so so jam-body game man pikin go dey endure for SE hand throughout this tournament.

you're spot on.
this guys make more than these bonuses they keep crying over with just their weekly wage abroad...

not taking side with the NFF though... but come to understand that playing for the country presently is sacrifice and also help elevate their careers in club football and endorsements that should come first.
sometimes it doesn't always have to be about them, take for instance Ezenwa playing in the NPFL this money will matter more to him they are standing up for somebody like that besides all their mates for club level dey chill, Ndidi should be on honeymoon but they are on national team assignment and you still don't want them to have anything to show for it, reason am na some of you just dey criticize them if you are in their shoes you fit para pass them

They are currently about to spend 120 million despite being investigated

He has had 15 injuries and 4 bouts of illnesses in 6 years, what more does injury prone mean to you?

Iwobi has hardly had 2 injuries in that amount of time

You should not say that Chukwueze was poor in the first match in order to prove Simon played well when he started. Some of you are very unscrupulous elements.

Chukwueze played well in the first match and was ranked best only behind Aina in that match at 7.9. Simon played well in the second match delivering the assist to the lone goal. That Simon played well in the second match does not mean Chukwueze played badly the match before. That is a bad angle frequently imported by few here when discussing players nobody ever calls out.

You pull down one player to promote another. are they not all playing for the same team. If you had put Simon in that Burundi game do you know how poorly he would have played against such negative football? Would he be able to beat one single player? Would he even see the space to cross?

Stop rubbishing one player's effort to prove another player should play. This is not a healthy argument and in little time we will soon start seeing the negative results. Nacho saga has still not ended on this thread.

Try to be balanced in your summation.

Awaziem was solid today. He was actually ranked among the top 4 performers for Nigeria by both sofascore and whoscored.

Omeruo
Etebo
Simon
Awaziem
Isokay.

Denis Suarez doesn't play defensive or central midfield you even know this ,you have disgrace your self so why forcing it on us

You are the slowpoke man

Get a life and stop fooling your self

Denis Suarez defensive midfielder ? Lol

That's why you said Ozil was injury prone but you can't answer why he has played 166 Epl games from 2013 till now so you have to jump to Denis Suarez to cover up the nonsense you are saying

Go and sleep
