Yes domestic violence is an African/AA and also a middle eastern thing. These cultures don't value women and see women as inferior and that's why women going through domestic violence in the above societies who dare speak out or leave the marriage are seen as evil, devilish women who only left their homes because they wanna sample different d!!cks.

Let me reiterate. There is not one gene, enzyme or or protein in the body which has been linked to polygamy and the polygamous mindset of you Nigerian men. There are oestrogen for women and testosterone for men and there is nothing to show that men's testosterone makes them polygamous in nature so that argument is baseless and holds no water. Have had this experience first hand I swear. And i felt depressed, sad, suicidal all through the relationship with the first guy, I ever known when I was just 21. Mehn that guy can kill dreams all in the name of love. Worst ever first relationship of my life!

And just yesterday my neighbor, a matured man of 50 . We were gisting about men and women. When I told him what happened between me and my first ex. He said I was at fault? I asked why am I at fault? He said my ex might have had great plans for me career wise but I was determined to follow my passion in fashion design during my course study Of Marine biology in the university
My plan was to graduate with good grades , then head to fashion school and learn my true love ( fashion). And if I marry along the line, no wahala. It's all good as well.
What annoys me most, was when this man said I'm meant to understand a man and knows his weak points. I was like really? I met my ex at age 19 , he claims he wants marriage, I said OK but remember I need to go into fashion design after my grad. He was firmly against fashion design after introduction was made.
