What's wrong with them talking about it? I wish every incident of rape could get the same coverage but in Nigeria it seems we need big names for serious topics like this to be pushed to the forefront, otherwise they're normally just swept under the rug. Whatever their motive for speaking up, at the end of the day it's doing a positive thing by shining a light on the often dismissed subject of rape in Nigeria

I see no reason why busola would grant the interview if she wasn't sure about what she's getting herself into,her husband is a public figure, so I don't think they'd stoop so low because of attention and dent their reputation. I really hope they get to the root of this matter because this allegation is too huge to be ignored.

When a child is molested by a familiar predator events can never seem all logical to people who have never been in such position or smtn familar. There are many events that look like consent was given by it wasn’t because of the influence they had on that person. These are the not strangers. It’s quite possible.

I didn't say its wrong 4 them to talk about it. Am saying d effort& zeal they are putting into this case can't b compared 2d nonchalance they have shown in d cases of child rape. If u say they are doing work behind closed doors, y didn't they address this issue behind closed doors? U are on nairaland & am sure have read about 3, 5,10 year old being raped.
