So many women haters on Nairaland. Whether blinded by their love for their pastors, their religion or sweet fùćk all.

Most people saying they don't believe Busola because she 'has no evidence' are rape apologists. They just need a screen or excuse to hide themselves behind.
Most of those supporting the Pastor have committed rape at one point or the other. Women in Nigeria are chattels believe me and until society fights for rape victims as in this instance, the rest will still hide for fear of public condemnation and backlash. I know a lot of women who have been raped. You would think they are normal until they start acting up. They never forget and they never get self worth. It influences their behaviors and relationships, and the men complain without knowing the root cause of such behaviors is psychological.

I am deactivating my NL accounts. Both this one and the Kennygee account because NL has become a den of rapist, misogynists, tribalists, bullies and frustrated people who are bent on bringing their negative energy to the cyber space.

To those sympathizing with rapist, I wish rape on your sisters, mothers, daughters and any female close to you. Maybe, just maybe, it will make you understand how sensitive it is.

Bye fools.

What about the CALL upon the wife, what about obstruction to Church Service. Except the foundation of that Church COZA is evil and their cup is filled, otherwise, disruption of service is an attack from MARINE Kingdom.

The fall of a man is not the end of a Church if the Church is run by Holy Spirit. Those jobless people should be very very careful. I pity Busola, in few years time when her marriage would have ended, I reserve my comment.
reserve your breath and comment for the demonic rapist deceiving gullible. I see his marriage getting strained and ending soon. Not Busola.

I am a young man, and at about age 17-18, a pastor often called me to his office in Port Harcourt to teach him to use computers and huged me tight behind the door of his office. Then used his penis to try pressing on me. Because of fear, and confusion I often kept quiet. Till a day at about age 20 I visited the church he was posted to in Onitsha as I was returning on a journey. He made me pass the night, and made us sleep together in the parlour (his wife traveled). That night he attempted having sex with me, but I resisted all night, but didn't say a word till I got into a bus the next day on my way back to Port Harcourt, I sent him terrible text messages. He apologized. I forgave him. 5-6 years later in year 2011, when he opened his church in Ibadan, I donated N264,000 as a NYSC corper (I closed my account) to support his fledging church. It was only today, at age 33 that I summed up the courage to tell him, "never contact me again". Pastors have a controlling power on members. I didn't add, I also put his son on scholarship for about 2 years but ended this year (I paid over 250k to support his son, mainly because though he tried hurting me, he gave me books and advice that really helped me in business and life in general. He also once called a young entrepreneur who gave me this advice at age 18, "what will you want you children to call you? Papa or Daddy". That influenced my actions for life. I suggest pastors constantly go for counseling to avoid destroying the same people they build. He helped me see my talent in computer than studying medicine even when my parents forced me to study medicine. Pastors have strong influence

See this control over members thing is what I want this current situation to break. People need to understand that God has the final say and not your pastor. This needs to happen so our children won't fall victims

She wasn't alone, she said her elder sister was
upstairs sleeping @bold

My problem with most youth is that they don't think critically, that's why they are swindled by God of men and politician. A 17year old is not a kid, most 17year old are in 100lvl in the university.

Someone said the reason He believed her is because she has no reason to lie... I was like WTF!! In 21century trending cases bring money. OK forget money, what was potiphar's wife reason to lie against Joseph??

Since Nrymars case and when I saw the movie 'when they see us' I stopped judging a case on sided.

Imagine jobless youth protesting an alleged rape case when unemployment is on the increase , RUGA, insecurity and kidnapping are all on the increase. This country is a joke.

So if she was promiscuous at 17 and not a virgin as she said is that really rape. have you not seen a girl of 17 in 200 or 300 level. the story has many plot holes she needs to rectify. because that story will totally flop in the eye of the law

A protest tagged "Church Too Movement" is currently ongoing at COZA church. The protest starts by 9am in Abuja.

This is coming following the rape allegation leveled against popular COZA Pastor Bidoun Fatoyinbo by Busola Dakolo, Timi Dakolo’s Wife.

The #IStandWithBusolaDakolo sparked outrage & a call for #stepdownpastor. People are calling on Pastor Bidoun Fatoyinbo to step down as COZA senior pastor.

In anticipation of the widely publicized protest, COZA church and roads are fully armed with Soldiers, Mopol and Police.

You just spoke my mind. The church has always been at the receiving end once an issue like this occurs. Rape is a crime, agreed but this is christendom where the devil had been longing to pull down. Let he, who has never committed an offence raise up his hands and throw a stone at that woman...as mentioned when a woman found in the act of adultery was presented to our lord Jesus. You see, our society is full of rot. Pastors and elders raping women and teens have been am age long thing and this should be frowned at. But the lady challenged her case through a wrong channel by speaking to the world. The lady in question, why did she have to wait this long? Why not report the case to the police immediately back then or even now that she's coming out and allow them investigate? Who knows what went wrong between the pastor and Timi's wife before she got married, whethertjere was actually am affair or not between them? Who was there to bear witness of what actually happened? And the questions are endless. There are herdsmen raping scores daily, kidnapping and maiming but the same people wouldn't storm aso vila and protest. But because it's an attack against the church...forget the pastor here...anyone could be used of the devil...the whole place now becomes agog. I blame the woman for even washing her dirty linen in public and the husband who didn't realise the consequence of his action by consenting to her revelations in a wrong manner. The stigma would linger for a long time for the couple, including their children. If they were truly Christians as the claim, why not go and meet thos pastor and pour their hearts out to him, allowing him say his part of the story and seek an apology. Why not even ask CAN, the Christian body come in, if possible? Why inform the public? Many of those protesters have at one time of the other must have committed adultery , rape, abortion, etc both Male and female alike...so, would they now be confident to say to the public they actually committed these illegal acts?

I completely agree with you. The statistics of women who have encountered sexual assault at one time or the other in their lives is mind-blowing. The society has made it somewhat normal for women to internalise these experiences and bottle them in.

Thankfully, some of us have grown past all that archaic enslavement of women and all sexual offenders will be made to pay for their crimes against humanity.
