Omar09:Not true. That there is no strong evidence does not mean it is a lie. Therefore, fatoyinbo can't win the libel suit easily. The court would hold that there is no enough evidence to convict fatoyinbo neither is there any strong evidence that it is a lie. Therefore, the court won't grant him any compensation.. |

This reminds me of ALUU 4, where those four innocent friends were brutally murdered by angry mindless mob, due to an allegation they didn't commit. The same thing is happening here, the mindless mob in their desperate need to virtue signal their discontent for rape/rapist, they loose all common sense, fling off due process, and act like brainless droids over an allegation that is yet to be proven. The stupidity in some Nigerians sometimes is so thick, I only wonder what kinds of processor their brains operates on. Acting just by the words of a woman is basically weaponizing speech, and any vindictive woman can wake up tomorrow and scream rape, and the ever loyal, mindless, incapable of reasoning mobs will react on her behalf, even before due process of the law. If this happens to be a false case of case allegations, perhaps, I hope it will be a landmark case to deter mindless mob from acts like these, if not, it further solidifies why I think a large percentage of Nigerians are utterly stupid, to put it mildly. |

Deyvid123:Stop living in hallucinations. You stand with which truth? Day light political robbers, have they been arrested? Innocent until proven guilty you say as if even a live tape is the screen playing, whether anything will come out of it. "Innocent until proven guilty" is a scam in some scenarios, humans are not wired to behave that way. If a man tell you that Mr B is an ebola patient, would you say that since it hasn't been proven, you will work with Mr B like you haven't heard an anything? come on man. Fatoyinbo has his integrity to protect here. An Busola is not in the game to win public opinion. She is sensitizing the public. |

Nigerians with low IQ, you are protesting against a man whom has not been proven guilty. I am not a fan of Pentecostal Christians but yet I won't be a Party to injustice to mankind, this reminds of the Aluu 4 ,they are still allowing history to repeat itself. Are Nigerians saying just because Busola is Timis wife automatically make her a saint that can't lie? God help my Nation. FYI I am a proud Catholic |

When are we gonna protest against our politicians that are raping us financially, economically. When are they going stop them from raping the future of the coming generations. |

Godsage:Did anyone arrest or detain him? He's still a free man, but folks like you who have been conditioned would rather have no one ask questions or voice their opinions which is what they are doing or is protest now illegal in Nigeria? The moral burden is on him and his church while the joke is on folks like you and COZA zombies out to defend anything out of sentiment rather than logic. |

All these organised imported religions with leaders constantly exploiting people's needs to believe, causing commotions and violence everywhere. Regardless of how this case ends, this man church will be filled every Sunday, if not more than before. |

stanliwise:Have you ever been accused wrongly for what you didn't do?? So one day when you or a family member of yours becomes very popular and rich; when you going about your normal routine A lady comes out to Instagram or twitter and said you raped her years ago with tears rolling down her eyes, we should just believe her then stone to death the accused?? We should not ask question and find out if it's true or not?? The next thing is to condemn.....?? No court No jury?? Just social media trial!! All rapist should be jailed or killed but I will never accept one sided trial or story... Never again. |

There's no proof yet that Busola is saying the truth, but she is not some broke/desperate opportunist looking for cheap popularity and some pocket change. She's living a good life and has a reputation and that of her family to protect. Pastor Fatoyinbo could be innocent of the allegation but this is not a one-off case as he has been accused before. It is still very possible that he is innocent of all the allegations. So i don't think a sentence should be passed until he has been given a chance to fully address this issue (s) and defend himself. Busola on the other hand deserves to be taken very seriously. Rape is a grievous crime and it has become endemic in Nigeria. Anyone standing completely with Busola without giving Pastor F benefit of the doubt is unnecessarily emotional and guilty of fallacy of hasty conclusion. Anyone defending Pastor F without asking for the case to be thoroughly investigated is a Potential Rapist. The ideal thing to do is to let the case go to trial and listen to both parties give their accounts under oath. Even though i don't fully believe in our judicial system but i feel that if we listen attentively to both sides of the story, somewhere along the line, the truth will emerge. |

| Re: Rape Allegation: Nigerians Protest At COZA Church (Live Updates) by Deyvid123(m): 1:28pm On Jun 30, 2019 |
stanliwise:Normally I would just ignore but let me indulge you a bit. If you tell me Mr B is an Ebola patient, I would ask how you know this with proofs. I won't start spreading rumors he's an Ebola patient because you said so. The presumption "innocent until proven guilty" isn't a scam. It is a shield to protect people from false accusations and what not. Now imagine I accuse you of theft that occurred 5yrs ago, how do you prove your innocence if that presumption doesn't exist? your last paragraph makes little sense, if she doesn't want to win public opinion she should have sought redress in court and not this social media trial. #saynotorape |

zeuss:This young man isn't the only Pastor in Nigeria, many times he's been involved in series of sex and rape scandal, the last time, he promised giving a robust reply till today, he hasn't said a thing about the Ese scandal. He didn't defend it either in the Church, tell me something, he doesn't own the members of the Church some explanations? Globally when officials are enmeshed in scandals like this, they resign to allow proper probe, what's he doing if not keeping silent. |

kernel01:Correction.... Sex scandal I'd different from rapist.....the later isca moral quagmire the later is a crime. Kai! Something just didn't make sense to me there. I have no intention of making anyone feel bad here but I think there was no rape in the whole saga. There was rather a silent attraction that gave birth to mutual conjugality. Why be around a man for that long if you never liked him? Why keep mute on him raping you while your sister was in the house if you never liked it? Why didn't you shout and raise alarm when he was leaving, after the purported rape if you never liked it? Why didn't you share the first and second rape issue immediately to your beloved family if you never liked it? Why still go to his church if you never liked it? Why go stay at his house to help his wife and even sought to sleep in their master bedroom if you never liked it? Why follow him in his car to drop you if you never liked it? Why didn't you struggle when he took the u-turn to give you the supposed second rape if you never liked it? Why didn't you tell anyone again or even the police if you never liked it? After the third day, when he came to find out why you didn't go to church, why didn't you refuse going to the same church when he asked you to if you never liked it? Why didn't you show any sign of what he did to anyone? Why conceal the whole issue if you never liked it? Are you totally innocent Why didn't you tell us if you ever seduced him? Why didn't you tell us if you fell for his looks? Why did you do what you did and are still doing what you're doing to him now? Is it fair? So because someone accused you of sleeping with pastors in the past and is accusing you of being unfaithful in your marriage now you want to pick on the pastor who was in your past just to cover up on the accusation meted on you? Who knows if you probably seduced him to push him to that extent? What looks did you give him when he entered your house with your nighty on? Why didn't you rush to change? Why allow him to come in when you were probably Unclad in a transparent gown? Please, Pastors are humans. Let's be fair on them and their weaknesses as human as they are. Don't go seducing a man with your talent and beauty and expect him to act as brother Paul in the Bible when you refused to leave him and his territory. A man will chase you and get what he wants when he knows you're interested in him. We're not fools please The woman should just admit that she was wrong as much as she claims that he was wrong |
