I recently got a LG smart TV which also has inbuilt satalite, but during search i don't see local channels like AIT and silverbird. Instead it receives DTV channels which don't show.

I saw some antennas and signal amplifiers on aliexpress, but I'm not sure if they will work.

Pls how do i receive local channels and boost the DTV signals?

You'd need a decoder for pointing the dish.afterwards, connect back to your TV. You'd scan and see the satellites.

So sorry to post this here,
I change my chromebook PC to window PC, I installed window 8.1 on it, but the hard drive is too small 16GB, I decided to buy another ssd disk of 256GB, now am trying to install the window 8.1 back, when I get to where to format the hard drive it will say "window can't be installed on this drive, I used command prompt to convert it to GPT, after conversion still the same thing, "cannot install window on this drive, I have used several method still no avail, gurus what will I do?

Pls how will I do Xtra View on DSTV decoder. pls help me.

Scan for ANALOG channels, not digital

Brother, there are certain free dtv services in Nigeria. Abuja has "Free Tv".Its a dtv service which is completely free.

Get yourself a 90cm dish and look for good installer to do the rest . Track nigcosat, tstv multitv and watch fta.

It all depend on your pocket/budget, if your budget is below 10k go for tiger m5 super, Range T20, or cast C8 pro. Between 17-20k go for Tiger t8 ultra, t8 high class or T800 hyper which is above 20k, but if you want a decoder for now and the future with a 4k picture quality buy the the grand master of decoders any of T3000 series.
