I'm hopeful myself. I believe the loss to Madagascar will inspire the team. But it may be safer for you emotionally and mentally to focus on Cameroon first instead of looking beyond the round of 16. You know, just in case! For one reason, due to the unpredictable nature of the sport. Just a thought bro!

comodo:

Am already looking beyond Cameroun. If you know you know.

We can lose to either team.. but I can't bear a loss to Ghana. The way SE has played so far in this tourney, I won't put my confidence on them. no sentiments

Gbam

I hope we don't regret meeting cameroon in the second round

You people keep saying this but the truth is, you can't give what you don't have

This present SE don't know how to play as a team and they haven't been trained to be deadly in attack. No matter how spurred they are, a blunt attack is a blunt attack

The Malian team is made up of youngsters from their 2015&2017 U17 sets, yet they are this good.

No be by name.. play as a team.. Many of us are still saying Osimhen cannot play in this AFCON. no be he mates dey play ball. Rohr is clueless how to put these lads together and make them function efficiently as a team.

I'm sorry but your comment is quite hypocritical. You were dropping shades and indirect insults hours ago according to what I have been reading since page 6415. Funny.

You're the one who knows what you're talking about. I'm mostly very direct in approach, if I'm commenting indirectly then I've most likely thrashed it out with the person before and I'm not interested in another back and forth.. That being said, I don't throw insults about at every turn like a number of people here and that remains a fact.

oga, na u dey think that one. the players are busy on field. After two draws, why wouldn't they want to destroy their last opponent. My kind of football is score as much as you can, only play cautious if your opponent is equally strong. Who were Ghana playing again? Gone are the days when many teams were scared of Nigeria.

Okay.

Yet, some people are trying to convince us playing our youngsters together is a bad idea. Yea, its only a bad when you have Rohr as a coach. I can do better with that team. Since that dinosaur took over our national team we are yet to plays decent football. He kept a Ebuehi on the bench while he kept playing a fumbling Shehu at the World Cup. Rohr is not the way forward.

Yes they hug the ball so much. Quick exchange of pass can easily disorganize a team. That's my worry and their off d ball movement is very very poor. That's why you see them waiting for passes to meet them against moving to meet the pass. Hope to see an improvement in these areas

The youngsters we have the are the forward lines ,don't make it look like we have a young good midfielders on the bench as we have onyekuru osimhen chuks not playing much

Our defence and midfield is the best we can offer

Who are the young stars you want to be played together ? It's just the forward line ,I can't remember any young midfielder or defender on the bench

You know, some people post here just to be seen as smart. Osimhen can play in the Belgian league with more technical players than AFCON but nations cup is beyond his level. Rohr doesnt know what to do with the talents he is spoilt with. There is no way we should not be playing beautiful football when we have Onyekuru , Aina , Osimhen , Awaziem , Iwobi , Kalu , Collins , Chukwueze.....We should be playing high possessive football with many goals .

If Rohr like let his beat every team ten zero till he lifted the nations cup I want him gone...I want to see us play these youngsters together and familiarize them with one another. Rohr will destroy the future of our national team if we let him to continue

Sorry a player that score 20 goals in a top flight league can play at any tournament

Osimhen is naija best striker in Europe this season, correct me if I am wrong

But we are not rohr nah that is playing ighalo so it's not our fault ,the same rohr prefers onauchu ahead of osimhen ,that should tell you alot

Same rohr will not allow chuks enjoy minute ,same rohr will not play onyekuru ,so leave matter

It doesn't matter what positions ur youngsters play, as long as they are better than the older ones, play them... Keshi did it with Omeruo and Onazi in 2013. Guess who is partnering Mola Wague in the Malian defense, Kiki Kouyate, a player who was shuttling btwn Mali btwn U17 & U20 from 2014 through 2015

Nobody said we aint got good youngsters and there is no argument whatsoever on who has better youngsters btwn Mali and NGR, we rather are discussing in principle that while Mali is making good of the their youngsters ours are being under rated, in favour of older players they are better than. Lad that would have bagged more than 90mins playing for even Tunisia or Guinea. I mentioned this in my write-ups and I insist that we cannot be so bloody unfortunate to have a coach who comfortably benches some of the best young talents in African and world football right now just because he lacks invention and bravery. Such will only destroy the beautiful dawn we are about to witness.
