Who else saw the match between England and UsA?

I don't know when we will get to see an African team play like that.

The rest of the world aside Oceania are heads and shoulder ahead of us in the round leather game.

This US female team may even old Rohr's eagle to a goalless draw. cool

Dude no dey delve into argument when u dont understand where it is headed. Nobody said we aint got good youngsters and there is no argument whatsoever on who has better youngsters btwn Mali and NGR, we rather are discussing in principle that while Mali is making good of the their youngsters ours are being under rated, in favour of older players they are better than. Osimhen will do better than Ighalo

lol I no dey follow you argue o

Yes if osimhen plays and do better than ighalo it's a good thing for the eagles

I am not here to speak of who is better or not because that's what you are up to

If you want to see our young forward line better start praying for rohr to be sacked as nairaland ranting can't do anything

Their quick inter-change of passes is orgasmic buh most times they do it without purpose. They are even almost outta the AFCON, even with their messiah, the poor man's Uzoenyi.
lolz..poor man uzoenyi

Alright I see

If Mali can play those kids in their midfield and get great results, why can we play Onyekuru, Osimhen and Chuks in our attack also? Thats the question bkus people are irked by Rohr's wanton unsubstantiated excuses that the boys are too young to play..

Na one way coach.. bereft of ideas. Give him 5 more years and it would still be the same.

TheSuperNerd:
Lad that would have bagged more than 90mins playing for even Tunisia or Guinea. I mentioned this in my write-ups and I insist that we cannot be so bloody unfortunate to have a coach who comfortably benches some of the best young talents in African and world football right now just because he lacks invention and bravery. Such will only destroy the beautiful dawn we are about to witness.

3RD PLACED TEAMS RANKINGS:
1. GUINEA
2. DR. CONGO
3. BENIN
4. SOUTH AFRICA
5. KENYA
6. ANGOLA

South Africa manages to make 2nd round, anyway who send Mali message to beat Angola, didn't they get the memo?

You listed qualities to succeed as SE manager but you didn't list the most important one which is the ability to stomach non payment, bribery and corruption and unwarranted influence from certain personalities

Any manager that does not have that capacity will resign within the first month of getting the SE job

All you said is true and that is why I said that payment of salaries and allowances should be taken out of the hands of NFF and willing private individuals should step in. That way, they can use the national teams to promote their brands and the likes so that its a win-win for everyone. Because, even if Angel Gabriel coaches SE with all the non-payment/delayed payment, he/she will be frustrated

Even Cameroon will get 4 days rest while we get 6! ..

You people keep saying this but the truth is, you can't give what you don't have

This present SE don't know how to play as a team and they haven't been trained to be deadly in attack. No matter how spurred they are, a blunt attack is a blunt attack
if this thread was available in 2013 you could have bet your whole life that we won't go pass the knockout round

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the end of the road. If we miraculously survive Cameroon, we are up against Egypt on home ground. And there is simply no bloody way we're getting past them. Not with a dumb archaic septuagenarian at the helms. From this moment, I don commot mind from SE and AFCON, I just dey wait make season start.

I only pity the young talented players (Osimhen, Henry et al) who are being robbed of the opportunity to use this tournament as a launching pad for thier careers. It's such a pity.

The upside to this is that the NFF will be forced to sack Rohr for disgracing us before the world. Bye bye Onigbinde!

Finishing as one of the best third place team comes with a number of disadvantages and having fewer rest days is one of such.

All teams were aware of that from the start.

Sorry a player that score 20 goals in a top flight league can play at any tournament

Osimhen is naija best striker in Europe this season, correct me if I am wrong

But we are not rohr nah that is playing ighalo so it's not our fault ,the same rohr prefers onauchu ahead of osimhen ,that should tell you alot

Same rohr will not allow chuks enjoy minute ,same rohr will not play onyekuru ,so leave matter

Any player wey the coach choose I go support
but chuks started the first game, so how did he not give him minutes?
