Sometimes in anxiety of awaiting response to visa application response commonsense flies out of the window. I really appreciate your apology.

My application has been on eligibility review for over a week now and my application has exceeded the processing time. Is anyone in same situation as mine?

No I didn’t. I haven’t even gotten any update through email notification. I just logged in and saw the eligibility has changed going to two weeks now.

good morning everyone! Just need clarity on this, can i tick TOURISM on my form and same time write contact person's address in canada? he is NOT giving me invitation LETTER, but he will provide me accommodation for 9days, then i will visit another province before coming back to Nigeria.. Am going on vacation with my daughter, she is an undergraduate...leaving behind my spouse & 2kids. OR i should just use HOTEL booking without any contact person there?? Though the contact person is a canadian citizen!! Please every respond will be appreciated

I think similar process applies. A deeper look into your application.

You can order your GCMS notes to see the progress being made on your application or just wait it out.

This might be a little tight. You're gonna spend almost 2000 on just transportation alone. Depending on where you're headed to accommodation could be 100/night , which leaves you with almost nothing. try 3500 to be on the safe side

Thanks very much.

Hello everyone ....this platform has been my source of information for years . I don’t use any agent for my visa application as all the information I need is here . I came across this platform in 2009 when my first UK visa application was refused . I reapplied in 2010 using all the info here and my application was approved. I came back again for information for my US visa application which was also approved .
My family and I decided to apply for Canadian visa April this year and I came back again to read up on people’s experiences and documents needed for paper application .
Long story short,We put together our documents and submitted our application 10th of June .
I subsequently updated it online as read on this platform on 30th of June . Checked online this morning to discover that our applications were approved .
I’ve seen some comments on this platform that family visa is a no for Canadian embassy . It’s not true as it took less than a month . And I don’t think we put any document out of the ordinary . I wish you all expecting a feedback from them good luck

it was online submission so I can't pinpoint the exact Visa office that handles my application.
