Very good observation. Though I think the coaches decision to bench chukwueze wouldn't be far from his being selfish with the ball when it matters most. I noticed that in our first match

South needed best loser to qualify, in fact they were the last team to qualify , 16 out of the last 16 was their position

Most of you don't seem to understand that Ighalo is not your Messi or Ronaldo that will do it all on his own. He needs the players around him to be sharp, which is why the coach needs to start the likes of Chukwueze more.

And btw he was top scorer in qualifying so his record of consistency is proven.

They are not better than Nigeria, their game plan worked on the day that is all.

Mr analysis, did you expect a team that never conceded any goal in this tournament to chop 3 goals in a single match? the defending champs for that matter, or did u expect a team that struggled to score only 2 goals in 3 matches with lowly rated teams to 3 score goals against a defensive disciplined team? am sure u never expected South Africa to beat the host.

they were the best yet they got only 3 points from first 3 matches , and was the last of the best losers. they had a good match Egypt, nothing more than that, just like Madagascar had against Eagles

Our coach sucks with his team selections, if we crash out of the tournament the blames should solely be on the coach . Awazien is not even cutting it as full back . The dude can't attack or defend like Aina on the other side ,I know Sheu Abdulahi is injured but the coach needs to put someone else there.
