I applied as an EH. My experience wasn't a pleasant one. My panel constituted of really elderly persons 3 females(Mamas) and 2 Men(Papas). I was taken aback immediately i got in. They were not even smiling not even when they had just resumed from lunch. Started with 3 situational/behavioral questions which i think i answered comfortably as i was able to relate to work experience, then 2 technical questions(with sub questions) which was rather random(almost abstract) and not related to my CV work experience, i answered fairly, i think, then another question on NNPC; a difficult one. I was asked to mention 5 somethings of NNPC operations(Not subsidiaries), i could only come up with one top of the hat, another technical question which i just mumbled the answer and then HSE question with 3 sub-questions. I answered like 60% correctly. In total had 8 questions with like several sub-questions.
Baring a miracle, i think it is curtains for me on this one . Wish everyone the very best.

1. BE Confident
2. Be Audible
3. Expect a "why do you think you are the right man for the job " question .
4. Except a situational question "have you ever .....?"
5. Except a behavioural question "what did you do when ...?"
6. Except IT questions based on your cv "programming , database , algorithms etc".
7. Lastly the panel will give you a chance to ask your own question.
8. Dont Forget to say thank you.

For those sharing in-depth details of their interview , giving the rest of the candidates undue advantage over others who have already done theirs, you guys are very nice, thank you; but you should have done 1 more better by screaming out your CBT answers too to enable more people pass the test.

To all those complaining about people that are sharing their experiences and questions biko why una dey complain na? Na una data or phone they use share am? Lie that you didn't pick one or two things from previous experiences shared... Abeg make una carry una problem park for another thread, this thread as long as is on nairaland will continue to give tips... I wrote my test and shared the questions I remembered to a WhatsApp group then and some that wrote later said same question came for them, they appreciated me and that didn't stop me from being invited for interview and I aced it... Let's always be reasonable please and stop complaining when you're not the one buying their datas for them #thanks

Lol, don't mind him. it is like telling a fish that the water inside a cooking pot is not the same as the water in the river. The arrogant fish will tell you "all water na water" until something starts boiling. A word is enough for the wise, if the position was meant for everyone, there wouldn't be any need to conduct a test or interview, it would have been a walk in employment, but like I said, thank you for being nice. We love y'all.

Perhaps those sharing their interview questions don't really need the job, they are comfortable where they are, I have no grudges against you but please, please and please, give us that are in desperate need to land a decent job a fair chance. Be nice to us too by holding your peace.

Even if they share the questions or not it still won't matter. Many that were not even invited for the interview will still get the job. This is the best time to pray because you have done your part.

Sharing your experience means nothing as far am concerned. That won't determine who gets the job. All you need to succeed is God's mercy and favour. instead of discourage people, share your experience and believe your testimony is on the way.

lastly, please stop feeling insecure. Anything you see here won't affect your chance ok. we all started this race together. pray for the best for your brothers here. Give them as much encouragement as you can. Wish them well so that God will do same to you. Don't take everything as strictly competition. Without nnpc you are still alive and kicking.

Yes, some people will get in through the back door quite alright but if it was that easy, all positions would have been filled by nowand there wouldn't have been any need to conduct this stressful recruitment exercise. It is not everyone that has the money and connection to come through backdoor. Hence, sharing of questions matters as the bulk of the recruitment will be via merit. There is no best time to pray, the bible says pray without season.

You should know it is a trick question, they are testing how easily you can compromise your standard.

Well according to them, my experience for that particular role isn't enough but they can still place me on GT if I am interested cos they have that power to do so. At that point I just weak.

The undertone carried in this act is that it was of no significance for NNPC to have conducted the CBT in one day. I just imagine what wudve happened if the CBT lasted more than a day.

But on another note do the panel guys have the power to change someone from EH to GT?

You cover book oo, you open book oo, it is a personal decision. If the looker know wetin him dey do, him for no even notice say person dey cover book for am. Parasites like to hide their weaknesses by trying to shame those who refuse to open book. A lot of people don open book still fail while those wey him help pass forget am. So please y'all should stop that crap talk. If him no open book for you, move on, no be you pay him school fee.
