Dude it is paying salaries, it has been paying salaries and it will forever pay salaries as long as you don't make it to the helm of any management.
Just look at yourself, quoting grace and mercy and God's favor yet adoring this sort of ill. You apparently don't know what you stand for.

I applied as an EH. My experience wasn't a pleasant one. My panel constituted of really elderly persons 3 females(Mamas) and 2 Men(Papas). I was taken aback immediately i got in. They were not even smiling not even when they had just resumed from lunch. Started with 3 situational/behavioral questions which i think i answered comfortably as i was able to relate to work experience, then 2 technical questions(with sub questions) which was rather random(almost abstract) and not related to my CV work experience, i answered fairly, i think, then another question on NNPC; a difficult one. I was asked to mention 5 somethings of NNPC operations(Not subsidiaries), i could only come up with one top of the hat, another technical question which i just mumbled the answer and then HSE question with 3 sub-questions. I answered like 60% correctly. In total had 8 questions with like several sub-questions.
Baring a miracle, i think it is curtains for me on this one sad sad sad sad. Wish everyone the very best.

Your down to earth approach to your interview is worth applauding. But you need not give up. You may have been one of the best they yet come across, because you don't know what the host of others encountered too. Don't hang your boot when the final whistle has not been blown. Out of your hands for now, but you never know. Whatever the outcome may be, all will work out for good.

You go for your interview and miss some questions (or maybe get all) come here and share all the questions. Another person learns from your mistakes before going in and prepares better. The person is asked almost the same questions (e.g safety questions were repeated in almost all panels daily) and aces them. No matter how you deceive yourself, that person will score better than you and have higher chances than you.

I agree, they check for a lot of things beyond your answers, but your answers matter- keep serving free food to others on a platter of gold.

Tomorrow, when you lose out to your competition, you'll come here and start ranting on how the process is not free and fair.

Share your info all you want, copy from others' info all you want but please nobody should make noise here after the selection process.

Receive sense!

Lol, don't mind him. it is like telling a fish that the water inside a cooking pot is not the same as the water in the river. The arrogant fish will tell you "all water na water" until something starts boiling. A word is enough for the wise, if the position was meant for everyone, there wouldn't be any need to conduct a test or interview, it would have been a walk in employment, but like I said, thank you for being nice. We love y'all.

Perhaps those sharing their interview questions don't really need the job, they are comfortable where they are, I have no grudges against you but please, please and please, give us that are in desperate need to land a decent job a fair chance. Be nice to us too by holding your peace.

I was once a fresh graduate some 8yrs ago, I cannot remember getting to this level of nativity whereby I went for an interview ran in batches and then going out to give my competitors a clue as to how to ace the exam. Did some of you go through the university to get an education or just pass exam? na wa

As a matter of fact, I agree that giving out direct questions affects your chances, and gives another an edge to perform better.
However, what I have issues with is the fact that those who are screaming "ethics", "right and wrong" have all read other people's interview experience, and used it to prepare for theirs.

They only became righteous and objective all of a sudden because they don't want others to enjoy the privilege they've enjoyed.

Question for such guys
Would you be on this thread if people weren't sharing their experiences and questions?

I have applied for other jobs where I got far in the recruitment process because previous candidates shared their experience. I do well to drop my experience for posterity as well.

Just try to put some water in the well you drink from.
If you don't intend to do that, stay away from the well, or at least, don't put dirt in it.

You have a point there but it would have made more sense if experiences shared were after the interview was over just like in the case of the CBT. Even if those agitating against it benefited from it, it still does not make it right. You are doing it for posterity sake Yes! but have you stopped to consider that your act of good deed is spoiling other people's chance at a better future? You can't rob peter to pay Paul. Timing is key.

This thread was created from the time the vacancies were announced. As an example, some persons never received regret mail but found from this thread that people have been invited for interview. People are here getting clues as to the best way to dress and mind you, there is a difference in coming here to tell people the general interview format as against sharing your interview questions and responds verbatim. Like I have said previously, the panelists are not machines and they tend to have some set of questions they have prepared to ask. There has to be a basis upon which they are assessing the candidates. You do not expect that a panelist interview two civil engineers for one position would ask candidate A questions on Geotechnics and then ask candidate B questions on Structures. The questions have to be very somewhat the same in order to grade their response. You guys should exercise some civility and be disciplined in this country abeg.

I remembered this was how they bastardized the |Shell recruitment process. are you guys telling me you NNPC couldn't have made this whole process simpler by allowing people take CBT from the comfort of their home? definitely, they wouldn't dare that because some stupidly generous people on nairaland would screenshot their questions to share to others.

And before you start to talking, I interviewed on the very first day and my interview went convincingly well. As a matter of fact, I am even happy I did my interview the very first day because, going by the manner with which some of you are sharing your interview questions, it may affect the judgement of the panelist for those interviewing in the latter days. I told you guys previously how we were warned by the panel when they overheard one of the candidate talking about his experience after the interview. only God knows the fate of that guy right now. We were cautioned to leave without saying a word to anyone after our interview.

You guys should know that these guys are overwhelmed by the number of applicants and any little shortcoming, they are quick to disqualify anyone. However, if it is for future purpose we need to share our experiences here, why not wait until the interviews are over before coming out very explicit with our interview experiences?

Kingbee, If I ever benefited from any leakage of any sort, in all of my life, it was engineering drawing at 200l, 7yrs ago. Maybe you should go back and look at when we raised the issue on this thread, and not try to jump into a taxiing plane. Thank you.
Btw, I did my interview on day2. There was no sign until at the end of that day that the questions had a specific format.

Some of you think that you have gotten the job because the panelists shook your hand or applauded you or gave a signal that made you believe you have the job already. And therefore you came here to give the questions since you have already ‘aced’ your interview. You may get the shock of your life when offer letters start flying.
If you read 2012 recruitment thread, you would observe that interview questions were not discussed. Do you think they were stupid? There is a difference between opening your answer sheets for others to copy while in school and interviewing for a LIMITED number of vacant positions. While in school, I helped a lot of students pass their exams including students outside my department. But I can’t give out interview questions for so many reasons. One is that you may be lowering the chances of others even if not your own chance.
If you think you did not perform well, other candidates for the position may also not perform well, provided you have not given out your questions. That is what is called general failure. When there is a general failure, everybody still has a chance. I was not expecting to be called for this interview because of the number of questions I ‘thought l’ I missed in the CBT. But was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. So don’t lose hope and trade your own chances by being foolish.
The foolishness of men is making God responsible for what He has given them power over; don’t blame God for your foolishness.
For your information I had my interview on the second day and was told I answered all the questions correctly. I plan to state the questions and my answers only after the whole interview process is concluded.
Please be wise. You are no longer a student; you are an applicant now. If I were you, I will go back and delete any interview questions I have given on this thread.
