He no get shame at all... Been trying so hare to rubbish Awazeim for long. Even stooping so low to say Awazeim has been our weakest link this AFCON...
He used to rubbish Omeruo a lot...his first comment on Omeruo performance this AFCON was on his mistake that lead to Cameroon second goal....seriously no shame at all

His English boys aren't making the three lions team cus they aren't good enough... they aren't making the SE anytime soon cus their eyes never clear...
His attitude is irritating, and to think that some slow pokes in here, are always out to massage his ego makes me wonder if they really have any shame in them.

yes it would, but they are not the reason why we want to win it so badly. We missed two prior tournaments.

darkelf:
I am of the opinion that winning this AFCON would make it easier for us to convince the really good foreign born lads to play for us thereafter

Exclusive – Super Eagles Lineup For South Africa Tie, Chukwueze Starts, Aina Out, Eagles To Play 4-3-3
July 10, 201901379

The lineup of the Super Eagles for their quarter final game against Bafana Bafana of South Africa has been exclusively revealed to the editorial team of Owngoalnigeria.com.

This Trick Brings Me 3,980,000 Naira A Month!

As reported by this portal yesterday coach of the team Gernot Rohr maintained the 4-3-3 system that turns into a 4-2-3-1 when they are defending. However he has made two changes to the starting lineup.

Jamilu Collins is back in the squad and will play his first game after recovering fully from the groin injury that has kept him out of the team. He will take the place of Ola Aina in defence.

Aina is the only change in the back four with the trio of William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem keeping their spots in front of goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi.

In midfield, Rohr maintained same trio with Wilfred Ndidi playing as the defensive midfielder and Oghenekaro Etebo will occupy the central midfield role just behind Alex Iwobi who will once again play in the number 10.
In attack, Moses Simon who started in the win over Cameroon in the round of 16 makes way for the man who substituted him in the game in Samuel Chukwueze who will operate from the right with captain Ahmed Musa keeping his spot on the left.

Odion Ighalo who is the joint top scorer of the tournament with three goals will be hoping for more of the same like the brace he got against Cameroon in the last game.

Lineup :

Daniel Akpeyi

Chidozie Awaziem

Jamilu Collins

William Troost-Ekong

Kenneth Omeruo

Oghenekaro Etebo

Wilfred Ndidi

Alex Iwobi

Samuel Chukwueze

Ahmed Musa

Odion Ighalo

me i dey look talent and pattern of football. Everyone knows Keshi's eagles weren't great. But they won the AFCON
darkelf:
I put team 2000 and 1998 in parentheses because they are better than the team of 2004. Not because they are worse

Understand me please. The achievements of the team from 1994-2004 dwarves the achievement of the team from 2016 (when Rohr took over)

Although, the team of now is still in contention to enter the Semi-final and I believe they would do so, yet they have not won anything. No medal (not even the bronze) but they are getting there

I can't argue that, he really knows how to get the ball from his defense to the midfield, then attack, but those killer passes that split open their opposition belong to Zungu. That said, I dont regard Dean Furman bkus he isnt inventive, neither is he daring with his passes, he doesnt take risks unlike Zungu. He prefers short exchange of passes with his CBs and the closest midfielder to him. He hardly assists a goal or gives a wicked pass that leaves opponents in his wake.
You need someone that will keep things simple when you have a skillful team. He gives them balance, without him they are just a bunch of ball jugglers.

South Africa Coach Baxter Reveals Plans To Stop Penalty Box Predator Ighalo

South Africa coach Stuart Baxter has claimed that Bafana Bafana defenders will not man-mark Odion Ighalo when they face Nigeria in Wednesday evening's Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal clash in Cairo.

The former Watford striker has been Nigeria's most influential player at the ongoing tournament, having a hand in four (3 goals, 1 assists) of the five goals scored by the three-time African champions.

And Baxter has revealed that one of the ways to nullify Ighalo's threat is simply to cut off supply to the Super Eagles number 9.

''We don’t make individual plans for players in terms of man marking. We would solve that as a team,'' Baxter said.

''We would make it difficult for them (Nigeria) to play quality balls to their strikers and would defend like we normally defend.

''That is part of the ways you can make individual strategies to certain players. Being a central striker, Ighalo will fall into the back four as a unit, and we’ll screen the midfield which will make it difficult for him.''

Ighalo specializes in scoring from inside the penalty area and all his international goals have come from inside the box with the exception of his opener in a 4-0 win vs Cameroon in September 2017.

Collins for Aina hmmmm
I don't see what's good about that Collins. It's just because we found a left footed leftback that is not bad.

Rohr should take aina to rb and play collins at lb...but i'd prefer a 3-5-2 formation against these south african side... We need to press high up.. The southafrica like to build from the back

Wetin concern me concern attamah abi lettuce? Consistency includes winning a trophy atleast once or twice in the past 3-4 seasons. They emergence was because of the investors who pumped in money to the club. The biggest clubs in Turkish football remains besiktas, gala and fenebahche
