Okay, now I understand.

Please, note that you have to take the Letter to the MOE, MFA, and Czech Embassy in other to legalise and Superlegalise it before sending it to the CULS.

Thanks!

Hi how far with your visa application? Submitted already?

Consigliere:

They'll send you both the soft copy in PDF and post the letter to your address.

Please, has anyone been able to book appointments for student visa for July ? I’m really perturbed about how difficult is getting to book appointment for student. I’ve been trying to book appointment since March ?

The house has been silent for a while now. Y’all should enjoy the rest of Sunday.

I can't name someone specifically, but my source is from the Embassy. You can call or email the Embassy for further clarification, if you doubt it

Myself I'm confused as well as tired, how can the Embassy suspended visa application indefinitely, when one has done medical, police clearance and translation. Resuming anytime in Sept is tantamount to redoing all those which is double expenses. It's our govt I blame for Nigerians to be treated this way. You can't treat citizens of some countries like this without repercussions. Monies tied down indefinitely, gosh. It's unfortunate being born in Nigeria.

It's heartbreaking to say the least, have done all those things twice now. I may have to consider other options.

By 'considering other options' do you imply halting pursuing studying in Czech; which includes being refunded your tuition fee?

Honestly idk what to say; This is really sad! Is the issue a Nigerian - Czech thing? If not, can you apply in Ghana? Because the embassy is running in Ghana and getting a date for submission isn’t much of a problem if only you follow the rules.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Accra serves nationals and residents of Ghana, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Togo.

I don't know if they'll attend to someone from Nigeria, you can find out

Am not sure we can be attended to because it is stated that you can only apply in a country where you are a citizen or you hold a long term resident permit.

Considering the condition we are not eligible to apply through them.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.

I already sent them a mail, still awaiting their response.

We will need the schools to be aware of this development or ordeal we found ourselves.

Oh yhh it came in earlier than I anticipated. Still having issues with the school’s accommodation so I had to find accommodation outside campus.
My department is being difficult

I was just going through the thread again and I realized you got admission late last year.
...and you haven’t applied for the visa already? I salute you for your patience. I couldn’t wait after I received my admission letter. I just had to find alternate ways to apply for the visa ASAP

Which other alternative do you have in mind to apply for the visa? Going through Ghana, you're require a resident permit.

Yeah, Booking an appointment for Visa isn't a straight forward Business. I successfully booked for appointment on January but had to cancel the appointment because my supporting documents and admission letter wasn't posted early enough.

Will be open to any alternative
Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 7:04pm On Jul 11, 2019
Wow...BUT has one of the most stressful application procedures. After I pod and received admission letter, getting the school’s accommodation has been another issue.
My department wants me to notarize (czech notary) a certificate the rectorate department in the school issued and that has been impossible.
So I have to look for an accommodation off campus and use the lease for the visa application. Then work on the Czech notary when I get to Brno

Guess I was lucky to get a reservation for accommodation. The procedures are stressful.

They aware of how difficult to book an appointment for their visa. In the mean time, am still awaiting the response of their high commission in ghana pertaining to submission of visa application.
Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 2:40pm On Jul 12, 2019
I spoke to them and unfortunately, Nigerians can’t apply in Ghana. So you’ll need a Ghanaian passport or the other countries allowed to apply in Ghana
