I absolutely agree with you on that, because for Jesus to use the illustration of strong man to describe the devil, means that the devil was indeed a strong man and that anyone who chooses to take that for granted might be doing that to his own peril.

But Jesus also talked about the stronger person who is able to overpower the strong man, so it's wise to observe it from that perspective that the devil is strong, but Jesus by the Spirit of God is stronger, so that we be able to follow His example to become likewise.

I ain't offended at all.
I ain't really belittling the devil, cos I had earlier spoken about what I suffered to get to where I am now.
If the devil had no power, I wouldn't have gone through what I went through.
I won't have also spoken about people being able to transform to animals, wind,thunder e.t.c
I won't have also spoken about the efficacy of Satan's power in my previous statements.

That particular statement was based on the level God has gotten me to now by His grace.

I am sure you have never had a one on one confrontation with Satan before, so I understand where you are coming from. For even he knows what we are talking about, for he was speaking from his own personal level not generally speaking.

For i can also say same from a personal point of view that the devil is powerless in my respect, because I have grown to the spiritual level where the devil is powerless, having faced him directly on several occasions, he has been powerless in my case. However from the direct confrontations I got to understand why Jesus yet called the devil a strong man.

For it's easy for me with the other demons and forces of darkness, but when it comes to the devil himself, it is a different ball game. You can even ask angel Gabriel and Michael to confirm what i'm saying here.

You should also confirm what I said that you'd never had any direct tussle with the devil hence your saying this. For what Jesus said there was in His own respect, for it was by the extent of His own spiritual capacity that He was able to be stronger than the strong man and spoil His goods as He did on that occasion, for this was even before His death.

That's why Jesus gave us the Word of the Spirit to be able to replicate His spiritual capacity and become stronger than the devil.

So if you have not kept it and grown to that spiritual level yet, but just think that because Jesus was stronger than the devil that automatically makes you stronger than the devil, wait until you meet the devil yourself so that you can also speak from experience.
