It is reported that 9 bodies have so far been found and buried according to Islamic rites at the Zaria road burial ground in Jos, the Plateau state capital, the proceeding was led by the Chief imam of the Jos central mosque in the person of Sheik Malam Lawal Adam 1 person is still in the Intensive Care Unit of the Plateau Specialist Hospital, while 1 more person, a welder, called Mubarak, who was said to have been working on the top floor of the collapsed building,is still missing.
