If a man knows how to fend for himself while hungry, it reduces the wives value as a woman.

It will not devalue any mature and understanding woman as far the man know his limit in that aspect.

Take for instance if my woman is sick or being laid in hosipital bed, do you don't expect me to hire a chef to cook or i should prepare quacky food, ok maybe jumping from eatery to other to buy food for her........it is not ecominical, romantic and prudent, let us come out from the shell of manliness and make our marriage unique.

being sick might be an exemption but there are multiple ways to survive those situations. her sister might be of help, cooking easy foods like indomie and custards can also of positive help.
buying from eatries also.
truth is the bad outweigh the good, 90% of men who know how to cook are always disrespectful to their wives.
