The bible said " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God "
Even Jesus christ ,when a woman was caught in the act of adultery and brought to him so he can pass judgement on her , he simply stood down and started writing on the floor, and said cast first the first stone on her ye that had never sin before , after sometimes when he looked up he asked the woman where are your accusers and she said they left, and jesus said if they found you not guilty ,neither do I go and sin no more .
I don't think you read your bible.
BIBLEMANIA LOL !

Let's be rational... Only two accused him of rape.. He is a pastor and he should uphold morality, if he can't then that's between him and God..
The first lady that acclaimed he had sex with said it wasn't rape but concensual... I think she accuse him of for his hypocrisy of been a pastor and been immoral. May be she wanted to clear her conscience..
The next was Dakolo, the third was a church member but did you see what allegations were put on her, she was said to be sacked cause she embezzled church's fund.. I'm not defending or upholding anything.. I just want we vhristians to be prayerful. Let me tell you a story i was told by two different people about Kumuyi,if the issue came out some people would have called for his head.
He went for a program, he was led by the spirit to take his wife along which wasn't his plan and no one knew his wife was coming, on getting to the hotel they heard a knoch some minutes thinking it was the hotel service. His wife went to open the door only to be hugged by a young lady and immidiately they took the shot thinking it was kumuyi.
All rapists and false accusers will rot in hell
You are saying he is a pastor and should uphold morality. Good. sad Did he uphold morality when he had unlawful carnal knowledge of an under-aged girl, or when he was having illicit sexual relations with another woman in a hotel room?

Aren't these supposed to be classified as infidelity, which is seen in the 6th commandment outlined in Exodus 20 v 14? shocked

As for saying the girl embezzled church funds, what year did the embezzlement take place and how did she get access to church funds? Was she the church's accountant or a trustee of the church? What actions were taken against her, if truly such a thing occurred? huh

Why do people like cooking up false stories??

As for Pastor Kumuyi, I thank God for his life. True men of God will always be able to escape temptation.

Has anybody ever come out to accuse Pastor Kumuyi, or Adeboye or Oyedepo of any such immoral acts? No. Because they know how to live godly lives, and flee from all appearance of evil.

May the grace of God and the anointing upon the lives of these men, continue to increase....

Because muslims in general are well known child molesters , let's make it general since we are addressing rape among religious leaders .

Yes, our Lord Jesus wrote on the floor but he told her to go and sin no more. This meant that he knew she was guilty of sinning, but He wanted her to stop it, and refrain from repeating it.

By quoting this scripture, you are acknowledging that Pastor FB sinned by having unlawful carnal knowledge of Timi Dakolo's wife, so he should go and sin no more?

Are you saying he is guilty of the sin of adultery and rape, so he should not repeat it? Because that is what this scripture is saying. Jesus never said that the woman did not commit sin, o! shocked

You cannot make a simple sentence without abusive language ,am not sure you are not a bully , you need pysicology help . We are addressing religion in general, and I will personally support you to lead protest to variou mosques on Friday to stop child marriages in Islam , which is more rampant and I guess the Christian leaders accused of rape may have been inspired by them so you see the link now

The woman in questioned was caught in the act , meaning with undeniable proof , but the pastor in question was just a mere allegation that is still yet to be substantiate , so if jesus refused to pass judgement on her, so who are you to pass judgement on that which you aren't party to

Don't bring the devil into this. An allegation against a Priest/Pastor/Prophet is not an attack on Christianity. Truth should clear their names if innocent.
The way the allegation was made is suspect. As people who profess Christ, could Timi and Busola not have gone to elders in the Christian body? Or straight to the police. What was all that public accusation for? Publicity perhaps? To try to taint Christianity and pastors in general ? It is impossible to go public and not expect atheists, Muslims and church goers not to seize the opportunity to attack the body of Christ.

In the case of the pastor, has he decided to stop sinning? By asking that he should come clean about his sins, does that mean he is being judged? huh

Please stop reading the Bible upside down, and kindly stop covering up wrong doing I beg of you. Such actions bring Christianity into disrepute. undecided

In 1st Corinthians 5 v 1, we see Apostle Paul condemning sin openly, saying that he had heard reports of sexual immorality among the brethren, and that a man was having his father's wife! Why did Paul speak so openly against immorality in the church? Why didn't he say "judge not?" sad

There is nothing in the Bible that says we should turn a blind eye, to wrong doing. In fact, it says clearly that judgement will start from the house of God.

My point as you rightly pointed out that jesus knew by the proof of being caught in the act by witness that she was guilty , and the punishment then was stoning to death , but yet he refused to order her to be stoned. Jesus never passed judgement on her, and I can accept that as an oversight from you. Jesus passing judgement on her will antagonised his earlier teaching on do not judge . Let me asked you a question, are you a sinner or not ,if you are a sinner you had no right whatsoever to judge a fellow sinner, in the bible sin is a sin Wether you lied or you blasphemed or you steal . Please remove the log of wood in your eyes , before removing the speck from someone else so as not to appear as an hypocrite

Oga, please go back and read that passage with understanding. Ask God for wisdom. undecided

What judgement should Jesus have passed on her? Those who brought her to Jesus did not ask him for judgement. They were seeking justification to stone her.

And stoning is a punishment, not judgement. Jesus did not pass judgement on her, because there was no need for him to do so. Her sin was clear. Her remorse and repentance was visible. So what next? sad

Has the pastor acknowledged his sins, like the woman caught in adultery? Has he repented and shown remorse? These are the main issues.

By chanting "don't judge," like you have been doing, you are just exonerating wrong doing, and covering up illicit actions. Did Apostle Paul do that? huh

The same Lord Jesus judged the Pharisees in Matthew 23 v 13 and said to them: " Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to..." Why did he judge them? Because they did not acknowledge their wrongdoings or repent of it. undecided

In the scenery above , the law of moses implies that adultery equals death, and they brought the woman to jesus, telling him what she did, you will noticed they are yet to pass judgement here ,an accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty .Jesus was seen as a judge and so warrant the bringing of the accused before him, in the bible spiritual leaders often performed the function of judges, refresh your memory by reading the book of judges in the bible. If jesus actually wanted to passed judgement he would had ordered her there and then to be stoned ,but the mere fact that he told her not to sin again is to show you he did not passed any judgement rather admonished the woman to change her way . The busola /Biodun issue is totally different here someone accused the pastor of rape without substantiate proof, and the pastor said nothing like that happened ,and instead of waiting for the case to be investigated ,we were jumping into conclusion. This is totally wrong in its all ramification as busola might be wrong and the pastor right and verse versa
