As much as you're making sense. Remember that our legal system is not what it is. Don't come here and be telling us some soap opera. You and I know anything happens in Nigeria.
Precisely!

And the IDI*T still went ahead and gleefully played into the traps set for him; while you ins*ne cret*ns egged him on.

Now the chicken has come to roost, you guys have turned into armchair public policy experts; and left him to his own device.

And funny enough you have the nerve to cut back on people like myself who saw this from a mile away and advised him to choose the courts over social media.

Now that you guys have had your gossip and had your daily dose of faux outrage, how many of you would protest at the Force HQ for the manner in which he was invited for questioning. I'm willing to bet on a big fat ZERO.

He said so much, but ended up saying nothing. The post is filled with so much emotions than logic. First, you raised an alarm that there are armed gunmen in front of your house. Some of us were wise enough to know they can't be gunmen. Now, they were armed policemen with shabby looks. Were you expecting the police to visit you without arms?

That said, if you were forced to sign documents: why not call on your lawyer to be present befor undecidede that? The police already know you to be a celebrity, so I don't expect a fowl play. Stop the media trial 'cause it's obvious this post is to tarnish the man's already tarnished image.
Why would they go with arms to deliver a letter to lawful citizen and not criminals.

The guy dey act like say him marry as a virgin.

Did the Pastor cheat with your wife?

U no thank God he did not start a relationship with her.
The guy is really pained, so much that he's not thinking straight anymore,...... Only God knows why he's so pained really,....... Fatoyinbo has done two things right by stepping down and going to court but Dakolo is still sulking to his Internet jury.
Time will definitely tell

Many Nigerians are used to being intimidated by "Big Man" that is why something like this seems normal. Me I know one thing for sure. The pastor is chasing shadows and there is no smoke without fire. Two women have already accused you of rape and one of having an affair. Why only you? Pastor onidoti.
Who is the second woman pls?

Y did u hide my comment and decide to quote me blank?

Do u have something you are hiding?

Is dis how u will defend Dakolo?

One advice to u, never take anybody matter personal and always leave room for reasonable doubt until proven otherwise.

U dont know wat happened between Busola and Biodun. U were not there.

Hmmm no go faint o. You went in search of vocabs and left grammar and that is the reason your English is more of Ninglish than the language itself. The reason you have "maybe" and "because" in a sentence, is purely a foundational issue. I don't think your case is beyond redemption. My advice for you is to dwell more on the use of English than vocabs. That way, your Ninglish will reduce to the barest minimum.
Do you know the meaning of Ninglish?! How old are you?

How did you go from Timi and Biodun to typing three long lines entirely comprising of ad hominem attacks.

Damn, and Timi probably thinks normal people who can push levers have his back. Not knowing it's a bunch of nobodies and insincere somebodies who simply are reacting a certain way because it's cool to do so.

You guys are terrible tw*ts! If it was an unsubstantiated allegation, you guys would be fuming. Now that the police is involved, to thy tent O Israel. Radio silence on social media from the celebrities who were earlier on falling over each other on who had the meanest outrage.

seriously, brother timi don dey fear. The pastor is even nice....this is a matter of "you did it" "i didn't". And when the case gets to court, you don't really have an evidence except the one your wife told you and her sisters as witnesses. sisters who weren't present when the alleged rape occured but based on what she 'confessed' made them emergency witnesses. THE CASE WOULD BE RULED OUT OF COURT FOR SURE, because you have no substaintial evidence.
JUST then,if i were the one,i would now sue you for 'false accusation' and 'image slandering' and that's when you would know what hit you. grin grin grin
BUT AS PASTORS HE PREACHES FORGIVENESS AND THEN, HE MUST ACT FORGIVENESS.

A rape allegation that occurred over a decade ago... long before Timi ever thought he’d marry Busayo now turning into a full blown war. Something doesn’t seem right with the timing of the revelation, not after many kids and a seemingly happy family.

I sincerely don’t know what the end result of this saga would be, one thing I sure know is, healing can’t come even if Pastor Fatoyinbo goes to jail.

I stand against Rape and all forms of sexual abuse.
Justice must prevail.....It will stop people like fatoyinbo from doing that in the future.

Thiz rubbish must stop in Nigeria, the common man deserves justice irrespective of his background, religion, tribe etc

You stand against rape yet you don't want those that want to fight against it go all the way.....That's discouraging

greggng:
Sometimes I wonder how we think in this country...the police saw a viral video of senator who was beating a woman and they did the needful by inviting the senator and even charge the matter to court. ...is this case different?
Yes, this case is different. In the former, a video was an evidence of the presence of assault. Although a video could be doctored, the accused, or perpetrator of crime (the senator) owned up to the crime by making a public apology. This means he already accepted that he committed the crime and the video was not doctored. In other words, this was not an allegation, it was a fact! Therefore, there is no need for investigation; the police could go straight to charging him to court as a criminal.

In the Dakolo case, on the other hand, what is present is only a public allegation; there is no proof as of yet. In addition, the accused, the pastor, has publicly denied the allegation. Considering there is no evidence yet and only a presence of an allegation, the highest the police could start with is an investigation. In addition, due to the nature of the allegation and the channel it was sent to (the public), the police could not simply start arresting anyone. The parties involved would have to first invite the police into the matter. In this case, we have not heard that Timi Dakolo or wife reported to the police, it was the accused, the pastor, who reported. And the only thing the police could do is to invite the other party, since one party has reported. And this is what they have done. They have visited the house to deliver a letter. If the Dakolo family had reported the pastor to the police, the police would have equally visited the pastor's house to deliver the letter in the same way.

greggng:
Video of Timi wife was all over internet telling the world that she was raped by a pastor when she was 16years old....isn't the police suppose to invite the accused for questioning and even charging him to court.
No, the police could not just jump into the matter if neither of the party involved invites them. This is because what is on ground is, at present, a mere allegation. The accuser needs to either report to the police that something was done to her, or the accused reports to the police that someone false accused him. If neither party takes an action, the case would be left in the court of public opinion, the police wouldn't just get involved if not invited.

greggng:
Is there double standard in this case?
I hope I answered your question.

greggng:
We are watching to see how this unrepentant pastor will pull through this mess
Now, this is you being judgmental even before the law takes it course.

Coza can’t win this there are numerous allegations not yet even mentioned against this man. Why only him several people. As for me I know he did it I’m just waiting for him to to explain his side and let’s get the ball roling. There’s no intimidation or slander here if not why did he step down?

I can never step down for what I know I did not do. Why did he step down? I will take it up immediately not playing the silent game. He shud own up and seek repentance and restitution and restoration bt he doesn’t want to learn.

Rape or Fuc.k is debatable. She is 16/17 and over, wat is the age of consent in Nigeria?

Is he an armed robber? It seem you do not know how Nigeria police operate when they want to intimidate you.
grin grin grin grin grin Bro, did you see any picture of the policemen at all? How do you know their look fit this your description, or are you just being emotional? And what do you mean by "storm"? You mean they entered without knocking, just badged in?
