You must not know football fans. Have you seen how English fans bash their footballers when they lose? What about the Colombians? Wetin Ighalo chop wey Mikel and Yobo never chop twice as much as?

This your talk no blend, football fans are highly emotional about the game, so, bashing is something players should expect, not something that can bw controlled

If na by who collect insult, Arsenal fans would have sent Iwobi into early retirement

OK then, let us allow them retire. Ighalo has had enough. He knows you guys will come for his head again if he fires blank in his next match. Naija folks don't like him that much even if he breaks Yekini record now. The guy don calculate im profit and loss.

If u no add SAMU i go pull your nose oh grin

For a rookie to make a claim he must be consistent.

He got a goal but his approach play and unnecessary dribbling and lack of team cohesion for me said he has a lot to learn. He had some moment of Brilliance but they were far and few between. What makes quality is CONSISTENCY of performance.

Then in the game against Algeria he was given a lesson by the Algerian defence, caged and his end product non existent.

Do we have a reliable striker?

Let me remind you that Ighalo himself wasn't reliable in the national team even when he was in form at Watford .He lost his starting shirt to a younger and untested Iheanacho .Iheanacho rose to the occasion until he lost form...Ighalo was recalled to replace Iheanacho...
We have Osimhen, Odey and Awoniyi...another prolific striker may emerge this season,u never know..

so to answer your question, we don't know if we have a reliable striker (as per national team form) until they are given the same kind of opportunity Iheanacho and Ighalo got ..

Your answer, we don't have a reliable striker at the moment

So it indicates common sense that we keep the best striker we have until we find a capable replacement

Amunike did better with a less talented Tanzanian team than Rohr did with a much better Burkinafaso, Gabon and Niger national teams respectively. Give Tanzania to Rohr, and he wouldn't qualify them for the Afcon

FIFA specifically asked Nigeria to host the tournament after India and South Korea pulled out..
FIFA officials would be in Nigeria this week for inspection...
The security situation may posse a challenge, but then is there any country that has hosted a FIFA competition with no security threat?
Even Egypt that just hosted the AFCON isn't entirely safe in some parts..

it's a 16 nation tournament.. we can host it... make FG just provide the necessary funds...

Osimhen, odey ,awoniyi ,david okereke

Let's see that they can do ,they should be given a chance ,osimhen should be favorite to lead the line now

If we were to apply that "common sense " in 2017, then Ighalo would have been left alone in China and Iheanacho would have continued as our no.9

Abi o.. After all Ighalo himself was recalled even when he flopped in his first attempt..
We have a free international window in September .If Rohr is serious,he should call up fresh players... As in very fresh players.. the NFF should organize a friendly with two quality but beatable teams (I want Qatar and Mexico) and let Rohr try the players...
Another free window is on October before we play our first AFCON qualifier in November..

Let the regular players take a break for a while....

See bro ,football is all about chances ,I cannot judge a player with just few games

Even many people judge nwakaeme with just 1 bad game ,and it's not fair

I doubt Nigeria will host the U-20 Women’s World Cup. The female football world often disparages Nigeria for its lack of openness to homosexual players on its team. I even recall during the coverage of the WWC, while European teams got those positive, inspiring documentary videos, Nigeria was often criticized by commentators for its LGBT laws.

I won’t be surprised if that transgendered Rapinoe and her leftist minions, speak out against the tourney hosts.

Has there ever been a time when Nigeria was free from insecurity challenges, political unrest, economic crisis or whatever??
During those times we have hosted the AFCON. u-17 and u-20 world cup.. all Africa games and a host of other sport events...

Majority of FIFA member nations don't support the LGBT law... To hell with what Rapinoe or whoever has to say...

FIFA are bound by their code of ethic to respect every country's law, norms and value regardless of what some individuals think..

FYI, India will host the 2020 women u-17 world cup. that's a country that doesn't support LGBT laws and has one of the highest rate of rape and girl child marriage in the world.. what did Rapinoe say about that??

Salif Sane reached the final with Senegal. Why wasn't he considered? What about Mandi of Algeria?

Truth is Omeruo outshone all these guys. Even Koulibaly made it based on his fame. He had to defend against Forwards from Benin, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya with only Algeria and Tunisia providing real tests while Omeruo had to battle against Forwards from Cameroun, Guinea, Burundi (with Fiston Razak- Qualifiers 2nd top scorer), South Africa, Algeria and Tunisia... All tough tests. He didn't feature against Madagascar.

In games Omeruo featured, we registered 3 clean sheets. That's the clean sheet angle.

Omeruo was never beaten man for man throughout the tourney. Koulibaly was. Mandi was. Even Awaziem held same stat till the semis. But Omeuro finished with this stat intact despite the quality he faced unlike Koulibaly.

darkelf:

That isn't enough if it doesn't translate to a clean sheet or at least a place in the final
