Please was anyone asked to supplementarily send all credentials as one single PDF file to a designated NNPC email with candidate No. as email subject in addition to uploading it on the career portal prior to the test? I just wanna confirm something.

Yes, I was asked to so that. It was before the test... Any info?

I don't know about other parts of the world but I am sure it must exist as long as tribal sentiments continue to exist in such geographical location. Your point on some regions being lazy is true because it has been happening.

Take WAEC for instance, while candidates in the south were busy trying their best to prepare for the exam or at least look for money to sort invigilators; up north, where I did my NYSC a while back, the school authority literally held a meeting to mandate all teachers to write the WAEC answers legibly on the blackboard to ensure candidates write the correct thing. Some candidates even left in the middle of exam to go sell their yam as a customer came calling, he was to come back and finish it later. These are candidates who have government jobs waiting if they manage to get a pass. I just gave up on the lopsided country.

It is also imperative to state that there were some smart kids though.

These things applies everywhere and not a yardstick to term to any region particularly. Back in the South where I served as a corp member, similar things and even worse outplayed itself with a whole lot of threat to life and property to accompany it should a student fails. Smart kids are everywhere and threats are everywhere too.

It's unfortunate that the last 50 or so pages of this thread has little or no valid info pertaining to the subject matter. Folks that are supposed to be focused and more cautious in thoughts, words and actions are on here throwing banters and insults in the name of fun. It's a pity.

Yet you took your time to read the last 50 or so pages of this thread has little or no valid info pertaining to the subject matter. Continue to pity yourself.

Have you ever heard of skimming/scanning as reading methods? How old are you? Please do not malign yourself in your effort to discredit my comment.
PS: I do not wish to contribute to elongating this thread any more than is necessary, so be kind to quote me when you have tangible info regarding NNPC 2019 recruitment updates.

I almost ignored your comment until I saw the age part. Just one look and it was obvious to know the reason why you are so particular about age. Talking about discrediting one's comment, you did that with your previous post by saying comments made on the last 50 page are not valid because it does not align to your own line of thought.

I ask again. How old are you? Of all things you can research by 1.39am, it had to be my comment from way back 2016 for which you could not even make your point. Please move on. Do not clog this thread with inconsequential banters. I won't dignify your next quote with a response.

Perhaps a first hand information from an individual with a GT experience at NNPC can help doze off some of the tension here.
Posting is based on discipline and vacancy slots. It has nothing to do with individual score. Interview is meant to determine those who will join the corporation. That is where it ends. I'm not sure there is any organization that determines posting based on interview scores.
So I will advise not to build unnecessary tension inspired by anxiety and which can lead to delusion.

Like Jarus said, go to naijahotjobs (which was the hottest job site back then in 2012), and you will see people still hoping for 2nd NNPC list seven years after!

In 2012, all the successful underwent a 2 (or was it 3?) weeks orientation program in the Abuja headquarters. During that period, medical examination and security screening were performed. Also, we registered our banks.

After the orientation, the non-STEM GTs and experienced hires were posted immediately to different subsidiaries. And it's all dependent on your discipline. For instance, all the microbiology / biochemistry graduate that I met during orientation were posted to refineries as safety officers. A friend who studied quantity surveying was posted to IDSL, while a number of accountants were posted across several subsidiaries (accountants are needed everywhere) Experienced hires were posted based on their discipline and the role they applied for. Many experienced geologists were posted to IDSL and NETCO.

The STEM graduates had to undergo 9 months intensive training called FSTP (cant remember the full meaning but TP means training program). I was told that the overall best graduates per discipline were sent abroad for further studies. But the rest were posted based purely on their discipline and had nothing to do with their training score. Most chemical engineers ended up in the refineries; most petroleum engineers ended up in NPDC, and so on and so forth. A few who had solid network influenced their posting (typical everywhere even in private firms). Married ladies had the opportunity to choose the state of preference. For instance, a friend whose family was based in PH chose PH. She was posted to PH refinery.

This was all in 2012. Things might be different now.
