Abia State government up till now have not tidy up Aba, why? What does it take? Such an enterprising city have suffered terribly by being abandoned by successive governors including Ukwa_Ngwa man in power now. Why?

Aba is a city in Abia state. It is the commercial city of the state. Aba is the main city center and the heartbeat of Abia State.

The city has a long history as a major center of commerce and industry in Nigeria and its influence extends to such neighboring countries as Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Central Africa Republic, Ghana, etc.

These pictures you see are not pictures of refuse dump site, they are pictures of some roads in Aba this 2019.

This city has over 120,000 shops operating in Ariaria market.

There is no need rubbishing Igbos with this thread. Whatever you had in mind. Almost every state in Nigeria has a place like this. Lagos, Oyo, Imo, Cross River.

But the shame of these pictures should goto the governor. Your thread should have captured Attention: Governor........

If you had good intentions.

And the Easterners who cannot afford the fare to Lagos, those whose generations has never set foot into the beautiful Lagos will come here on NL to tag Lagos as over hyped slum.

Lagos is never, has never been this bad.

Seeing these pictures just made me stop taking my breakfast.

Bro, even the so called task force on sanitation matters are doing nothing about it. They are very greedy set of humans.

All they know how to do is go round each compound and paste paper. And on that paper, each occupant is to pay 100naira per month which amount to 1,200naira per year for each apartment as sanitation levy.

So the quest is, what do they use all such Money collected from thousands of compounds yearly to do?

SO GREED ON THE PART OF GOVT, IS WHAT HAS MADE THIS STATE REMAIN LIKE THIS.

You mean #100 per month and #1200 per year is enough?

My bill for January - June is #97,000 from Lagos Waste Management Agency. They only visited 2x for clearance.

This isn't about painting Abia black.. It's the truth. Dirt and bad roads are in diverse places. If people don't speak up, no body will know what's happening there.

Though Abia Governor is yet to construct and reconstruct the over bad roads he inherited in Aba alone, he has been able to do the more economic roads in that city including the ongoing PH Road that is owned by FG.

So far so good, the Governor has done over 50 verifiable roads in Aba. Even the opposition candidates confirmed that during the campaign period.

He is doing well.

Undoubtedly, all the roads in Aba hasn't been done but throwing up unverifiable pics as Aba is mischievous. You will agree that Ikpeazu has done a number of bad roads if you're objective enough.
