That was fast, did you use priority service?

Enick:
Thanks, guys.

I picked you my passport today with 6 months visa. This was my second application. My first application came back with a refusal letter with the claim that my fix deposit is in doubt and how I accumulated such wealth.

As advised by justice and co, I addressed that section by providing answers to how I got the money although I have an unregistered business which makes up 70% of my fund, I just told them is it a side business and I provided receipts, invoices and legal commission agreement with the company.
( Note: I addressed my denial on the extra section of the application form and cover letter. Also, note that my employer does not pay money into my account. We receive salaries by hand).

Biometric- 1st July
DMC mail- 15nd July
VAC mail - 17th July
DHL pass- 20th July

6 months Visa issued.

Thanks

They do and it's an added advantage, not that you can't get a visa without one.

I disagree with u on this. If an applicant with virgin passport has a good paying job, family ties and provide all the necessary requirements without travel history, they will issue the visa unlike US and Canada that deny applicant because of travel history even with good paying job and family ties.

My friend was denied based on nine of his account, and the other one was not mention in the refusal, the account mentioned has just 4000 naira in it while the other side account has more than a million naira, but he choose to use both since the 4000 own is his salary account while the other side account is for side hustle and co.
He got and invitation from his niece, who is working and has her own utility bills sent to him with bank details and co, the vo said his no convinced my friend will come back, this is a guy with army equivalent rank of brigadier general.
Imagine insult.
But anyway advice , what way forward.

Hello guys,

So I want to travel on a tourist visa to the UK, I work and have money paid by my employer into my account every month. My worry is my sister has been paying some money into my account and this is different from my salary from work. Before my father died he owned houses so when he died the houses were taken over by my sister and I and we rented out to tenants. So this is where this money my sister pays comes from, how do I show to the visa officer that this money from my sister comes from rents?

Please note that I only have one sibling and that is my sister so there was no will or anything from my father, we just took over the property after he died so no documents to show we both own the houses except for one land that he already put our names on a long time ago.

Justwise please advise

Honestly, having 4000 naira in your salary account shows little or no financial stability and even though his niece is sponsoring the trip his own personal circumstance would still be considered and 4,000 naira closing balance is not so good. The other account might not really help since origin of funds cannot be ascertained or wasn’t proved.

Good day house, please I’m a bit confused on certain things regarding the application and need help.
I put £3,500 as spending money in the application and also indicated £3,500 is the money my fiancé is sponsoring me and we’re travelling together.
Question is;
1) Should the £3,500 exclude my hotel booking and money for tourist attraction since I’m travelling with my fiancé who intends to make payment for hotel booking and tourist attraction (in his name)
2) If I’m meant to include the hotel booking and tourist attraction in the spending money, should the bookings be in my name or my fiancé’s name?
3) in the checklist where they have “evidence of family members remaining in home country while you travel “ what kind of evidence will I need to provide?
4) Is it possible to change your hotel address after submitting the form because the initial hotel that was used in the application got sold out by the time I returned to make reservation.

Thanks as I humbly await your response @justwise and co

I submitted in Abuja center and I didn't use priority. I was shocked to observe that it was concluded so fast despite having my departure date for August 19.

Surprisingly, the visa has an effective date of 12 August.

Yes. I have a travel history. Actually, I went to UAE with my family far back in 2013, however, I don't see it as a yardstick for this visa because my first application, which was submitted 9 months ago was refused.

You have to explain it and if there's rent receipts you can attach it but you have to make sure that you give detailed information about money paid into your account that is not your salary

Hello.
Being reading alot here and I am glad I am learning.
Please I would love to ask.

I intend to do a module of my masters program in UK which I would be spending just 3weeks. I have admission letter and letter from the school addressing the embassy. I have a letter of Introduction from my place of work, my payslip, and employment letter set.

I have an uncle I intend to stay with during my period of stay, he is a citizen and has sent me his statement of account, letter of sponsor and international passport data page.

My question now is; I have just 1million in my personal account, would that be ok for me? As accommodation is already taking care off by my uncle who I would be staying with. This amount was from my savings and mothers contribution.

I have someone who wants to send me 1.5m but I am sceptic as to what explanation I would have to backup such funds in my account.

Please I need a guide on how best to explain or indicate on a narration for such funds or should I let it go?

I also have an aunty in the U.S who wants to send her documents too as a second sponsor. Would that be an added advantage ?

Thanks.
I look forward to reading your feedback.

Hi, I recently applied for a short term student visa just like you to do a week's course at a top uni in the UK..

I will keep Posted on my application, as I have gotten an email that its been concluded. Currently waiting for pickup.

I advise you pay for the course (if it is refundable), also put an itinerary or timetable from the school of the course activities. also your tenancy agreement and proof of any family ties you have here...

1m will be sufficient depending on you and your budget. This budget should be included..

and also how it relates to your current salary.

My police clearance certificate will expire on 9th August..
Is it possible to use it for the Visa application or must I get a new one?

Hello Gurus in the house. Please does anyone have a rough time frame to hear from the VAC? I got a "UK Visa Application - Application Concluded" last friday the 19th of July. I assumed the passport will be ready for pick up today considering posting might have been done over the weekend. Please can anyone share thier experience about the time lines.

Hello everyone, I got an email 'Uk visa application-Application concluded. Your UK visa application has been concluded' on Thursday the 19th of July . I observed that it is different from the normal 'Application dispatched' emails. For those who were successfully issued with visas, were the emails that you received 'Application concluded or Application dispatched', so I can prepare my mind.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by seyisanya(m): 6:47pm On Jul 22, 2019
I received same email on Wednesday 17th July and still nothing from VAC. I have a peculiar case because I used the "Keep My Passport" service(meaning my passport is still with me) because I need it for a different trip to Schengen zone this Wednesday.

The school sent am email saying they would send an invoice for school fees payment by August ending and that we are not to pay tuition fee till after visa is out. But I do have a receipt of payments done for registration to the institution.

The tuition is approximately 440k and I would be staying with my uncle for the 3weeks in UK so I won't be paying for accommodation. Do you think the 1m is ok?

I am considering getting a letter from a contribution or smtin to backup the 1.5m is that fine?

Do I need to still add my aunt as a second sponsor on my application?

Thanks.
Looking forward to reading from you soonest!
