As a fresh young graduate of Psychology with a proven track record of excellence in sales, customer service and HR, I believe I would be an asset to any organization if given the opportunity.
I am an excellent communicator, an avid listener, team player, quick learner and I pay a great deal of interest to detail. I have previously worked as a sales person in a highly competitive market, this experience helped me develop my communication skill and also aided me in understanding the value of offering peak customer service, because your customers are your greatest source of marketing. People don't pay over #200,000 to sleep on a bed for a night in a hotel room when they can easily get the same for #15,000, for no reason.... it's the service they pay for, the satisfaction that comes with the package. I got to understand that if people are happy with the way you made them feel as a result of the kind of services you rendered, they would always come back or atleast refer a couple of prospective customers to your business. I also have the "think like an owner" perspective when on the job. I believe the organization is a reflection of me and i am also a reflection of the organization, so whatever happens to either, affects the other. I love being affiliated with success, so I would be at my best at all times to make sure failure becomes non-existent. Also, my experience in HR is a plus because i got to understand the importance of establishing and working in accordance with organisational values and culture. Knowing that having a positive team spirit aids in fostering work life and getting things done on time and also understanding the organizations values i.e what the organisation stands for and seeks to achieve, makes me an excellent team player.
I believe with my little experience, quick learning ability, coupled with my academic course of study (Psychology; Understanding of human behavior, thoughts and actions, and being able to predict, manipulate and influence the said thoughts and actions using observation and statistical analysis), I would be a perfect fit for your organization.

I was only reading through the first essay writings about funny job hunt experiences and I decided to read all the pages. That was how I came to know about this competition.

Do I need the prize money? Hell yeah!
Did I learn anything from this? Without a doubt. This is actually the first time I will be writing something to be read by the public. It is a confidence boost for me to know I can communicate my thoughts to others through writing.
