I am also to resume September 9th and yet to apply for my visa due to some delays from my sponsor. If you're applying at vfs Lagos I heard from a reliable source that it's better to apply on a Friday Or Wednesday since applications goes to Abuja on these days. alusiala: |

Ohh okay, cool. Just try to apply early next week if it is possible, thankfully August is about 4 and a half weeks, so you have about five and a half weeks. I sent them a mail at the embassy and they replied that the 8 weeks is not a must but its advised just incase of any thing. Attached their reply alusiala:
