I am also to resume September 9th and yet to apply for my visa due to some delays from my sponsor. If you're applying at vfs Lagos I heard from a reliable source that it's better to apply on a Friday Or Wednesday since applications goes to Abuja on these days.

Same here. My sponsor wants to pay for the education bond, so I'm just waiting for that

Ohh okay, cool. Just try to apply early next week if it is possible, thankfully August is about 4 and a half weeks, so you have about five and a half weeks. I sent them a mail at the embassy and they replied that the 8 weeks is not a must but its advised just incase of any thing. Attached their reply

Thanks a lot. I always suspected the 8 weeks thing was more of a worst case scenario time limit. I know someone that got hers in 2 weeks actually.

It is not just be sincere about it and send them copy of the refusal letter. They are Liberal treating student visa[/quote]

U have to attach all the copy of your old and new passport for Ireland visa don't try lie to them please cos they operate with database and shares informations.

I don't understand how those people do their things oh. I got provisional offer within 24 hours when i applied and they asked for English test result which I submitted. 2 weeks now no update. don't know if it's because the program resumption is in January

it's just a prediction. Based on calculation. Going by this, I expect you to get your on the 8th or 9th of August.
