I challenge u to give a link to a site, known or mediocre, that suggests the mi 9 SE is a failure or that even the k20 has hurt the 9 se in anyway.

What is there not to understand, the OTA's you get monthly with Android security updates and little fixes are incremental updates. But for each MIUI Version released there is always a full version in case something went wrong and you need to get your phone back and running.
