I believe generally that UK schools are good. Though
Their German campus wont be tuition free. Their masters program is 1 year. I am going for MSc in Gisma business school myself and tuition is 12000 euros. I chose that because my CGP is 2.66, and that is very low when you want to study at any of the free tuition schools especially for a course like mine (Economics /Finance). So if you can afford it, go for it. Advantage is that masters is just 1 year, smaller class size amongst other things. And I think they allow payment in installment

thanks for the response. What is the visa pathway like?

Good morning guys.

Please, for those that had their interview yesterday, please did anyone ask the VO about we that has booked since Early July (like I booked on the 2nd) about what we should do, if we should wait or rebook.

Secondly, Who has or can tell me how to get the number of the visa section of the Embassy.

I'm still disturbed cos I don't think the interval btw July 2nd for Oct 15 isn't too early.

Please I need u guys response urgently.
Thanks

Canada wey don dey do anyhow. Besides they are costly if am not mistaken

Well, I would rather apply into other countries than to put all my eggs in one basket with no positive feedback besides it is actually easier to immigrate into Canada after schooling. I believe it takes just 4 years after living in Canada before one can be qualified to a legit immigration process compare that to Germany. They speak english in canada, weed is legal in canada... Lol...Canada is a fantastic place + I won't lie to you very soon Canada will be a world power country. I love the fact they speak two languages in Canada. It is a beautiful country my friend. Don't get me wrong Germany is also beautiful and both have quality standard of education but in the end, it is better to have options and take next steps.

If it is about cost, I would advise you to double your hustle because Germany could also implement tuition fee at any time. Ciao!

Pls stop discouraging us, I tried twice before I finally entered De.

Shout out to those of us who got admission since May and booked for appointment in May. Yet no appointment date. I just want you all to know we shall achieve our dreams wherever we end up in the world. Stay strong! it is not easy to wait 3 months for an appointment date but we shall SURVIVE and achieve our dreams in the end.

Anyone interested in guidelines about Canada & Norway applications should send me a pm. Giving up on the German application is not an option but my friend, 3 months no be joke! time to apply elsewhere.

Sincerely I no advice you go for dat Canada Waka oo, Dem go dull you. This German Waka na d best oo. Stay strong.

Hahahahahaa... Brother, I have been staying strong for 3 months now almost 4 months sef without AD. I would try Canada & Norway. Just like this German waka, People booked in May and no appointment date while some people booked in July and have done interview. What do you think?

The truth is if some people tried canada and it did not work, it does not mean if you try, you will have an unsuccessful application.

Well, I registered for an appointment with the german consulate around May when my dog was pregnant, she don give birth to 7 puppies, yet I never still get appointment date. I no fit even shave my beards because no motivation to shave... So brother, it is the time to try elsewhere.

The truth is that, they might not give that appointment date to those of us that booked early enough.

Note: If you're interested in buying rott weiler puppies, kindly send me a pm wink

AMEN! Thanks.
Oh okay.. well it depends on the course. Apart from the general document, you will need an English test, TOEFL or IELTS. EPL is not accepted. All the best.

Exactly. I understand the frustration of waiting months for AD but it's desperation that makes people make costly mistakes. If you don't make it to DE this winter why not try again for summer or even next winter? There are many things that can discourage people in this German waka and the German government can decide to change things anytime (after all they just increased BA money) but we should remain positive. If not for how things are in Nigeria, will many people want to migrate? Let's keep calm and be patient, relocation to another country is a big deal and should be well thought out and planned. So many people have relocated because 'I must leave Naija by force' and they regretted it. Above all trust God.

Sure, Canada is nice. But you need to submit many documents when applying for visa.
They can delay too, some people get their approval 12 months after applying for visa, I have seen 13 months sef. But the average is 3-5 months.
I have been following both Canada, USA and Germany thread since the beginning of the year.

Hello wonderful Nairalanders, I was at the German embassy yesterday for my interview. Yesterday was also my birthday and quite hectic for me hence my inability to drop my interview transcript.

I am on the road now travelling back to my base in Warri.

I had a fine interview and will drop details later today.

May God crown all our efforts with success. Amen

The buying price on abokifx is 397 so I think the rate is fine.

Please take him to the bank, fill the teller form, he should handover the Euro directly to the teller. Once you get your alert, you can transfer the money.

Good day all, just had my interview this morning 30th July, 2019. I applied to category A (Masters) on May 27 and got a date on May 31st. I pray for people still waiting for dates, you will get yours soon.

I got to the embassy around 5:45am and the policemen told us to go wait somewhere else until 6:30. I went back to chill in the car and by 6:15am, I strolled out and saw that there was a queue already, so I picked my documents and joined the queue.
Note: Please, try to get all your documents sorted, photocopies and EVERYTHING you need before that day. Many people will confuse you on that day except you are organized, Infact, I was hearing people saying that we have to do Passport Data page in colored. I just nodded my head and told them I already have it. All copies are Black and White.

Paulinus came out around 6:30am and started shouting at the security man attending to people. They aligned later and the arrangement continued. Our Visa appointment letter was stamped and we joined the queue. Schengen and Business class applicants were attended to first and then students.
He called 3 students first and later sent one of them to the back of the line. He made that guy sweat. Just arrange your documents well before you get to him so that when he is calling it, you can easily pick it and arrange. It got to my turn and I arrange my documents. I used my old driver’s license as my Old ID card. I saw down and waited to be called.

INTERVIEW:
I was called to counter 2 where the beautiful fair lady in dreads is. We greeted and the interview started.
VO: What did you apply for and what category?

VO: What will happen to your family?
ME: My wife is presently working and I would come back to Nigeria to work and be with them when I am done.
VO: //Smiles// Are you sure you are telling me the truth or just to make me happy?
ME: The truth madam.
VO: Give me your visa fee
ME: Handed it over to her.
//She counts with the machine, printed some documents for me to sign and gave me my receipt//
VO: What do you do and why this course?
ME: I am an Engineer and presently working as an Automation Engineer. This course would give me an international education that would help to boost my career.

VO: Why Germany and not US or UK?
ME: Germany is 3rd destination for international students. Germany is world leader in Science and Technology. Germany’s no tuition policy. USA and UK are expensive.
VO: Have you been to Germany before?
ME: Yes. 5 times and the last time was march this year.
VO: Really? So you have gotten a visa here before?
ME: No. I have been using Schengen Visa gotten through VFS.
VO: What is VFS? This is my first time of hearing that.
ME: I was shocked she asked this. So I told her about VFS.
VO: After studies, what’s the next step?
ME: I plan to find a job for a short while to practice what I have been taught and then come back to Nigeria to get a good job.
VO: OK, meaning you plan to stay back a little, because I need to know.
ME: Yes.
//She took my passport and was that I have 2 years active visa for Schengen.//
VO: Do you have the photocopy of the visa?
ME: Yes.
VO: Spell your email for me and I hope its active.
ME: Spells it. Its very active madam.
VO: Check your mail regularly, Nigerians don’t check their mails.
ME: I check mine regularly.
VO: You can go.
ME: Thank you.

//After I got out of the gate, I remembered I didn’t put my Schengen photocopy in the documents I submitted. But I have my training certificates gotten from those visits there//

The interview is not really hectic, basically what we read here every time, but you have to be composed else, you will forget a lot of things you have read.

I pray for grace and favor for everyone here.
Cheers!
