Good day all. @ Justwise and other.

.I am a widow with to 2kids, will like to go on vacation with my kids to UK .I am scared to state am a widow so it wont look like am running away . Am in my late 30's

Do i travel alone to show am coming back. I am gainfully employed with the federal government , I have all the document to prove i can support myself and the kids financially OR do i apply for the three of us.

please I need your advice .
you are a widow with 2kids, if the three of apply together it will show to the ECO you have no family ties in Nigeria. It’s best you apply alone first and use your kids as your family tie to Nigeria and later you can apply for your kids.

Hello guys!

Please for those that have applied;
What do i use to generate this figure for this session?

" Estimate the total amount of money you will be spending for this tripch month including accommodation, flight and everyday expenses. "

1) In the question above, please should I add my tuition to get the total cost or just the accommodation, flight and miscellaneous?

2) And for questions that has currencies as GBP or NGN, which is best I use all through?

3) how do I calculate this? "What is the total amount of money you spend each month?"

Please guys, your urgent response to this 3 questions are vital to me.. thanks as always

Good day house: please I need to ask a very pressing question, is it possible for the ECO to issue a visit visa without making any formal contact? ( placing a phone call Tru to the sponsor, workplace etc)

Please I need experience here, has anyone received his/her visa, without the ECO contacting there sponsor, employer and so one... Please I need to know.... Many thanks

Please help with this...
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by deewealth: 11:47am On Jul 30, 2019
That happen very often. They do not need to contact the sponsor, and it has no effect on the outcome of your application
I have been invited to the UK before, and I have also invited a family to the UK , on both occasion "Sponsor wasn't contacted" , and Visa was still issued ...

Hello All,

I intend applying for a visitor's visa for the first time. I am self-employed, have a registered company and a bit of travel history, mainly African countries.

I need to know if I'd need a tax clearance certificate for my company to apply for a visitor's visa.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you need it

I'm patiently waiting for TLS to update me.

Congratulations.

I didn't know that someone who is employed can be fully sponsored to the UK by a relative like your brother instead of sponsoring himself. Please what reasons did you give for fully sponsoring your brother?

nomad26:
Hello house, I bring good news. My mum and brother just got their visit visa valid for 6 months cheesy. My mum is retired and self-employed, this will be her 2nd time visiting the UK. While my brother has 2 years work experience in IT but no travel history and first time applying for any visa.
I put a budget of 3K for 2-weeks stay for both of them (fully sponsored by me).

Timeline (Standard): TLS Lagos VI
20th June: Submitted online application (document self-upload)
26th June: Biometrics
18th July: Call from UKVI (asked if I was inviting anyone and how long they are staying, if I am fully sponsoring and how much, my brother's job title and company he works for, my immigration status in the UK and my job title...I think that was all)
19th July: Received email stating 'Application Concluded'
23rd July: Passport ready for pickup
Picked up passports same day with both visas approved

These are the documents we submitted with their application:

Mine:
1. Invitation Letter for both of them (electronic copy with a scanned picture of my signature)
2. Copy of BRP and my passport data page
3. Tenancy agreement (scanned copy with signatures)
4. 6-months payslip (e-copy)
5. 6-months bank statement salary account (downloaded from my online account with no bank stamp)

Mum:
1. Cover letter - highlighted my mum's sources of income, she collects pension and is also self-employed. I also highlighted how much she has currently in her savings)
2. Copy of previous UK visa
3. Company CAC certificate
4. Pension Letter
5. C of O of residential house
6. Land C of O
7. 6-months bank statement (the one that her pension and income from her business comes into)
8. Excel table explaining deposits into her account, with 4 columns - Date, Amount, Sender and Purpose of transfer (we highlighted any inflow greater than 50K)

Brother:
1. Cover letter - highlighted his job, how much he earns and how much he currently has in his savings)
2. HR Letter of introduction
3. Work Offer Letter
4. Work ID card
5. 6-months payslips
6. 6-months bank statement (both salary and savings accounts)
7. Excel table explaining deposits into his account, with 4 columns - Date, Amount, Sender and Purpose of transfer(we highlighted any inflow greater than 50K)
*I was a bit worried about the fact that we didn't include tenancy agreement for my brother because he shares a flat with his colleague and his name is not on the agreement but thank God that it didn't seem to matter. We didn't include tax cards either.

Thanks to everyone who contributes here, especially to giselle237 & MadameW for taking the time to answer my questions. God bless you all!

Am not really that worried because today makes it 12 working days from my BIO. Friday 2 will be 15 working days

@Justblow, please share the Link. Thanks

The link to your tls platform is inside your inbox. That is the email that you use to log into your application page. You must go back to your application page via your email and click submit and give Biometric and it will then redirect you to the tls page, where you will see track My application at the bottom

Hello guys!

Please for those that have applied;

1. What do you mean by " my tuition"? The total amount you will be spending on your trip include your accommodation+flight ticket return+ living expenses which mean, your feeding, drinks, transportation fare to visit tourist attractions and then shopping ( If you wish) Calculate the money you will spend in all these and give ECO the estimate. Meanwhile the estimate depends on the duration of your stay.

2. The one that is much easier for you to calculate. I will prefer using NGN.

3. The amount you spend every Month on your self as you receive salary notification. Feeding+ DStv or gotv monthly charge+transportation+dependant ( If you have)+fuel+shopping etc. Just calculate how much you spend every month and write the figure in d application.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by nomad26: 7:41pm On Jul 30, 2019
I didn't give any particular reason. In the invitation letter, I mentioned that last year my parents came (also fully sponsored) and it was fun, so we decided to invite my mum and brother this year. I also made it clear that he has a good job in Nigeria that he plans to return back to.
