Isn't it very funny that our parents and grandparents who never had the opportunity to use modern communication technologies like phones and social media but relied on letters and telegrams for those who could even afford the opportunity had the best and successful marriages filled with love, trust and mutual respect unlike couples of today who hve al the sms, emails, whatsapp, messengers etc but can't even be in a relationship for months talk more of marriage without rancour and bile?

but my own add up is, has the lady in question checked herself visavis receiving such gestures.

Some core introverts don't have friends. You can talk of family because everyone has a family by default.
